  1. These long sticks deep in the nose its another reason for me to wait with traveling.
  2. Hi, still unclear which travel insurance to select. Am look for an basic healthtravel insurance/corvid+accident coverage that moves with me to any country worldwide long term. Lets say i book a 2 month trip to Thailand but i pay for this insurance just by the month , but COE says i need to pay my insurance infull for my whole period in Thailand? (So i book just a one month holiday) This Nomad health insurance will be around 100 usd monthly but i got no idea if this insurance even gets accepted any suggestions? Other insurance alternatives welcome. https://safetywing.com/nomad-insurance/
  3. Hi, There is an additional (business) tax of 3,5% in case a condo is owned for less then 5 years by that owner. But how is the calculation? I mean is there a payment difference between having owned the unit for 1 year and or for 4 years? Or is it simply owned less then 5 years then the additional “business” tax is 3,5%?
  4. Is that monorail for Pattaya still move forward? A light tram imho is the better choice.
  5. For older not native English folks these requirements and procedures are too complex.
  6. What’s ur fixation with Thailand? Just give Portugal, or Tenerife a try way less requirements and less headaches all together. Thailand plans to focus on first time visitors especially from India. ????
  7. Chinese, Indians, Africans, Arabs, etc etc etc and lastly the Farangs. Its good to know our ranking position.????
  8. Many cons and pros? Name me one con about having financial stable expats choosing to reside in Thailand? (Btw most have already left) Anyway look at these “economical” benefit seeking barely educated asylum demanders that Europe gets. Zero pros and millions of cons. ????
  9. Well i just stopped with staying long term just like so-many other expats did. That’s a quick fix..I don’t want to live in a country were the visa process is uncomfortable and over complicated because in the end it just discourages the foreigner for continuing his stay. I will still visit in future but just for 2/3 months trips.
  10. Am aware of that foundation believe father Ray has passed away a while back but anyway these thais in wheelchairs i cant recall them seeing outside in pattaya much.
  11. The process all together is annoying and repetitive then submitting hundreds of signed photocopies, pics of my house, bedroom, and my gf, TM30, house visits, unclear insurances, bank statements.etc etc I am not willing to continually waist my time on this .Complicated visas it thrives expats out. My child his Int school was yearly 315k, house rent 25k, received lots of visitors and family yearly from Europe, my car 1 million bht.
  12. For me organizing my suitcase going to the airport bring passport often even changing planes in Dubai its already a challenge enough. Now all this other stuff its torture and nightmare and I refuse to cooperate its too complicated and not worth it.imho ????
  13. Sounds like a nightmare to me ..No way i will travel under such conditions, but good luck. ????
  14. The visas/travel requirements are designed so complicated that especially for the older folks its no longer doable. Long term staying should be promoted these people will be less of a corvid risk.
