Authorities believe the factory has been employing undocumented workers for some time, evading regulations set by labour and immigration laws. The case highlights ongoing concerns about illegal employment practices and the exploitation of migrant labour in the region

Close the factory down and jail the owners... problem solved... no factory no illegal workers.

Under these new regulations, vendors operating in officially recognised areas will need to comply with income assessments and taxation. Specifically, those earning over 25,000 baht monthly will be mandated to pay taxes. Additionally, all street vendors will be required to register with the national income and tax system to continue trading.

Mass tourism is a complete enviromental disaster for the natural beauty of the island. It's such a great place that it needs quality tourists, if could just build up some infrustructure, cut out the scams, etc

Phuket is the epicentre of the south... attracting millions of tourists and billions of baht... forget infrastructure, safety,  and sustainability, the only thing important to TAT and the government are rising tourist numbers to say we are on the road to economic recovery..

In his post, Wuttichai dared the police, claiming no authority could apprehend him. He even disclosed his location, boasting about his evasion skills.

“Which cop dares to arrest someone like me? I’ve been wanted since 2007. No cop is brave enough. I’m in Ta Khun; come if you can.”

We came, we saw, you're nicked.
