  1. ??? It seems you're the only well-meaning and knowledgeable people using "rolling" year in this post... ?
  2. I've carefully checked: in 2024 I stayed less than 6 months in Thailand (175 days). I made 1 border run in Nong Khai and stayed 10 days in Hong Kong. The border run was the first in many years. And in 2025 I came in February 18 with a tourist visa. So, if they refuse me at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, nobody is going to be accepted.
  3. True, it could be a possibility. From Bangkok, all agencies use Ranong these days ? Or are some using Aranyaprathet ? Or... ?
  4. Thank you. Did you use them? The link is a little bit "strange", it doesn't open a full web page to present their service and quickly ask you to upload your Passport Information Page. This service belongs to asq.th or ask.th belongs to Thai Visa Centre?
  5. For Ranong? There is an airport but it's in Thailand so I should pass the border Thailand/Myanmar by land, not in Bangkok airport. BTW, is Friendly Thai Visa Services the only safe-entry service (or the only serious one)?
  6. Seems really pessimist. In 2025 I stayed only 3 months in Thailand with a visa + 30 jours extension. My plan is to stay 9 months in Thailand so the next time I'll use airport safe service.
  7. I used an e-visa rather than a visa exemption to come back in February to be sure to be ok with my first visa run... even if it couldn't be 100% sure.
  8. My last visa run was in august 2024. Then I left Thailand in September and came back in February 2025 with a visa.
  9. I did it one time by the past... so many time in the bus + usually they are mini van and I don't use mini van, too dangerous. So, what about Malaysia and Mae Sai now?
  10. WT. ... 😩 Are you sure? It was already the same for other Laos borders last year except Nong Kai. Otherwise, is there an alternative with Malaysia - Padang Besar - or Myanmar - Mae Sai?
  11. Hello everyone, My tourist visa extension is ending in one week, I'll go to Nong Khai by train and make a vira run at the Laos border. Last year, everything was fine at this border. Is there something new I should know? Did someone already make a visa run at this border since May 1st and TDAC? Westerners incoming to Thailand without visa get always 60 days? I read immigration was speaking to come back to 30 days? Thank you!
  12. Thank you for your answer. I said my visa, not my extension or retirement. I don't stay in Thailand all the year. I've everything already print here: TM30, TM7, Form Acknowledgement of Overstay Penalties, Form STM2, One photo. YOYA stick! So, if nothing new, no problem. Also I'll go directly to building B: last year, as I didn't go to GC since many years I went to building A first... 😒
  13. Hello everyone, My visa will end on April 18. Due to Songkran, I'll go to Government Complex on Wednesday or Thursday this week. My last trip was one year ago, is there something new I should know in 2025? Thank you!
  14. No. There are many convenience store around my room - 7/11, G25, CU... and no one offers this kind of service. Yes, some offer it, but it's the exception, at least in Busan or in my district. Maybe it's different in Seoul? In Japan, yes, 7/11, Family Mart, Lowson, they offer it everywhere. In Korea ? And it's not 100b but 100w !
  15. I'm not in a hotel. As for the rest, you're completely right.
  16. Thanks, everyone. Finding a print shop in Busan is a nightmare. The addresses on Kakao Maps and Naver Maps were not valid, and Google Maps is completely outdated (2017!!!). I wasted two hours for nothing. Eventually, a shop where I asked for a print service did it for me—for free. It was the same thing last year. Next year, I'll just ask my usual bakery directly! By the way, getting the e-visa is also a nightmare. I don’t know why it’s so complicated and why they ask for so many documents when they require nothing for the visa exemption. Once you’ve submitted everything they ask for, they keep requesting additional documents—especially an onward ticket, even though you can extend your stay by 30 days. On that note, some good news: AirAsia now offers the option to cancel your ticket and get a full refund—for a fee. The cost of this service is slightly lower than that of an Onward ticket.
  17. Hello everyone, I'll be back in Bangkok in a few days with an e-visa from the Seoul embassy. Last year, you needed to print it, at least for Suvarnabhumi. Do you know if anything has changed and if you can now use your smartphone? Or should I print it again? Thank you!
  18. As I plan to stay in Thailand for nine months, and since visa-exempt entries are unlimited but subject to immigration officer discretion, it seems wiser to apply for a visa and two exemptions rather than three exemptions.
  19. Hello! I'm in Korea. Last year, I was also in Korea, and I got an e-visa. It worked fine. But with the 60-day exemption, why should I get one again? What's the difference, especially since it seems that 60-day exemptions are now unlimited? Thank you!
  20. I was in Japan from Tuesday to Thursday this week: I was stamped at Kansai Airport.
