  1. I need to go to Laksi for a new covid extension : what do you mean by "the return date is now a month" ? What do you call "the return date" ? UPDATED. Ok, I got the information. Things are moving fast in Thailand, everything is new since my previous covid extension...
  2. Ooooups! Many many thanks for letting me know !!! Well, it's good news as for me Laksi is easier to go and I know the place and the IT Square. But 60 days covid extension is not precisely mentioned (even if "Short-term Visa Extension for Visa Exemption" is mentioned). So, does someone has experience about 60 days Covid extension at Laksi ? Thank you.
  3. Hello everyone, I'm in Bangkok and I'm planning to go to Muangthong Thani immigration before May 26 to get a third 60 days covid extension. Do some people have recent experience about this 60 days covid extension with this immigration office at Muangthong Thani ? Thank you !
  4. GRAB cars/drivers have a GPS, so no problem. And yes, it's just what I showed up to the taxi drivers (+ the full address in Thai), still it didn't make it !
  5. I also show them on Google Maps and it didn't help. From MTT to BTS it's very easy but from BTS to MTT, as the road is on the left side and you must turn right there is an extremely complicated moment and without GPS it's easy to make a mistake. But yes, maybe I could tell them it's next to Impact Arena.
  6. BTW, thanks for the Google Map : so, there is an "Impact Hall 6" station, I don't need to go to the terminal bus about 1 km from the MTT office ?
  7. Sure, no problem: before I used to walk from Lak Si to Government Complex (2 kms). I was just asking, in case such a shortcut exists, otherwise, no problem to walk !
  8. Seems many taxi don't know MTT: the first time I tried to take one from BTS Wat Phra Sri, the closest BTS station and two taxis didn't know how to go to MTT (I had the full address written in Thai), so eventually I used Grab from Wat Phra Sri to MTT. Now, I've used Grab from my apartment in Bangkapi to MTT but still not cheap and slow due to traffic.
  9. I also used to fly from Busan to Osaka (only 1 hour). But unfortunately, Japan borders are always completely close for tourists.
  10. Yes, I didn't want to wait for the last week... but it's just what they have asked me to do : coming back between March 21/25.
  11. No more quarantine for South Korea from March 21 (well, not exactly a land border but not so far, before covid I used to pass some months in Busan). That said, it's a little crazy: they are stopping quarantine when they are experiencing an all high new contaminations : +383.651 new cases !!!
  12. It's the reason why I reported this experience: to avoid to other people the same experience. I can't read all AseanNow posts and after 18 years in Thailand I never experiences this kind of problem before so I didn't make a research about it.
  13. Thank you ! Still, going from Bang Kapi to Victory Monument is not easy. The problem is the construction of the Yellow Line (monorail), making traffic horrible near my apartment. From Muang Thong Thani bus terminus to MTT office, is there a shortcut or should you walk (about 1km) to the main entrance ?
  14. What does it change for them ? I came today because for now the covid extension will expire on March 26 and I didn't want to wait the last moment to ask for a new extension. My idea was the immigration will be more crowded on the last week (21 to 25).
  15. Hello everyone, So, this morning, I went to the Thai Immigration Bureau Muangthong Thani to get a new Covid extension but the people checking the forms and photocopies told me that, as my actual first covid extension is expiring on April 15, it was too early and I must come back between March 21 and 25 (March 25 is the last day for actual covid extension). As I came from Bangkapi, about 20 kilometers from MTT I lost all my morning and some bahts with my Grab transport...
  16. I forgot to ask you if the small office for photocopies downstair is always open ? (just found that I forgot to make a passport photocopy with the last stamps from the previous covid extension... ????. )
  17. Thanks for your comment dj230. As the date has been written on your application, not on your passport, I understand you still could try to apply for a new covid extension if it is once again extended ?
  18. Hello everyone, I'm planning to go to Muang Thong Thani Immigration in Bangkok on Thursday for asking a 2nd covid extension (arrived in Thailand in Bangkok on Dec 17 with 30 days visa exemption + 30 days extension + 60 days covid extension until Apr 15). Did someone has an experience with this immigration office recently ? Thank you !
  19. Hello everyone, I arrived in Bangkok with test and go and 30 days visa exemption on December 17, 2021. I applied and got 30 days extension. Then, I applied and got 60 days Covid-19 extension, until April 15. The woman who received me at Muang Thong Thani mentioned that after the two months Covid-19 extension I should leave Thailand but she didn't insist. In fact, it seems I can get a second extension ? For what I read in an other post, I could apply until March 25 ? Thank you.
  20. "Finally, got a recommendation from Richard Barrow's Twitter feed. Download the QueQ app and search for THG. Pick a date and then a time and you can get your booster there. We got ours yesterday. It's in the Thai PBS building up near Don Muang." I used the QueQ app, went to the Thai PSB building and got Pfizer (as I already got Pfizer for the two previous doses). Thai PSB seems well known from taxis. It's also very close from Thung Song Hong station on the new Red Line.
