  1. Euh... should be me as I can't see my last post... I must be tired, I didn't even realise that I didn't use English. Sorry...
  2. Hello, I wanted to post in Thailand news but no "New topic" button for me... Well, anyway it happened in Bangkok: today, 10 August 2023, when I tried to pay with my Mastercard for 110 bahts to the 7/11 where I'm purchasing food since one week, it was refused. They explained me, since today, there is a 200 bahts minimum purchase to pay with credit card. Am I the only one/is it linked to this specific 7/11 or is it a "new rule" for all 7/11 in Thailand ? Thank you!
  3. First, I was surprised July 31 wasn't public holiday... still, why wait for the last moment to decide it? Two, I went to IT Square early, arriving at 8:20. I got the number 2 - there was only 5 or six people - and everything was finished at 8:40. I had prepared everything before to left my accommodation... except the two additional forms: I thought they have dropped them, but no. That said, you need one minute for each form, so not a big deal. Everyone was friendly and it was great to done everything in 15 minutes. Next time I'll come back for 8:30am again. Thanks again to people who have answered to my post.
  4. Yes, I know and while I gave the impression I wanted to go on Thursday my plan is to go tomorrow Tuesday. Thank you!
  5. Yes, July 30, sorry! And yes, I gave the impression I wanted to go on Thursday but my plan is to go tomorrow Tuesday. Thanks again.
  6. Thank you very much. I had a look on immigration website but didn't find the calendar. I knew August 1 was also public holiday for Buddha day, but didn't know for August 2. But my visa expire on June 30, so Thursday is last day for me.
  7. Hello, I understand the immigration in Bangkok (IT Square, Lak Si) is going to be close on Friday, July 28, due to the birthday of his Majesty the King? I wanted to be sure it's not going to be close also an other day this week, especially Thursday, for some reason (report of a previous public holiday for example). Thank you very much.
  8. Yes, the photo: checked with the form for me, I've one. For the flight, they didn't ask before but sometimes, "new rules"... Ok, glad to know they still don't ask for a flight ticket. Thank you very much for your help. Last - stupid - question: always 1900 bahts ? (as even taxis fares have moved after a century...)
  9. I got the TM30: it was a little bit complicated because it was only the second time the host was doing it but at the end I got the same thing as my last one in 2022 (except no more TM6). So, I'll go to Lak Si next week with: - TM30 - photocopies passport - immigration form Did I forget something? Could they ask for a flight ticket? Thank you!
  10. Thank you so much for these precisions: I really appreciate your help. I'm going to contact my Airbnb hosts right now.
  11. Hello, I'm in Thailand with an exemption visa ending on July 30. Last time I extended my stay was in August 2022. What has changed or not since last year? - extension always in Lak Si at IT square? - do I still need a TM30 (right now I'm using an Airbnb ending on July 26)? - do I still need to go two times to immigration? - ... Thank you very much!
  12. Ok, so to end this post, I landed in Chiang Mai on June 30 without visa and there wasn't any problem. The lady at immigration was friendly, I waied her when I left and she gave me back my wai. Many thanks again to all the people who have been kind enough to help me with this post.
  13. Thank you. So I shouldn't have problem to put French Embassy? If I'm correct, the e-visa - if country of residency selected - is delivered in 3 days? (I'm flying to Chiang Mai from Kuala Lumpur on July 1).
  14. Sure: instead of Busan/Kuala Lumpur/Chiang Mai I'm going to fly Busan/Paris/Chiang Mai.
  15. Well, I saw this and checked it before coming on this forum: it's precised "Your resident status in a country of which you are granted a residence visa to stay for more than six months.". I didn't stay more than six months in Korea (or any other country, I'm always traveling). So my permanent residency should be France. Except I've a Thai address on my passport... so my post on this forum.
  16. Well, eventually something making sense for me! No, I didn't start up an application on the e-visa website as first, I wanted to post on this forum. So, the e-visa website is going to use my IP address to send my request to the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul? Many thanks for your help, BTW.
  17. I know only this website and the only residency I've is my thai address in Chiang Mai on my passport.
  18. Doesn't make sens for me: French people with French passport are allowed to apply for e-visa.
  19. Thank you for your message. I don't have resident status/adress in Korea but why should I direct any application to any Thai consulate of any country for an e-visa when there is a website to do it? E-visa is just for not going to any consulate, if I understand correctly.
  20. I'm in Korea. Does asking for an e-visa on official website could make problem because my French passport has a thai address in Chiang Mai?
  21. Once in Thailand some people don't want to leave. I hope he doesn't overstay...
  22. Thank you for your answer but I'm a little confuse and not sure to understand what you mean.
  23. Hello, I've a French passport but with a thai address in Chiang Mai: do you think it could be a problem to get a SETV e-Visa? Thank you.
