  1. America may continue its slide into the abyss regardless of which one of these two candidates win the Presidential election.

Clinton has a track record of incompetency, dereliction of duty, using public office for personal gain, mishandling of classified material, deleting evidence in an FBI investigation, obstruction of justice and on and on.

Trump has no political record and is an unknown.  Citizens of the US should be concerned what the outcome may be once the reigns of power are within his grasp.  Appears like a loose cannon on a rocking ship at times.

The world is both amused and fearful for the US's future, and so are it's informed US citizens.

  2. Vietnam beaches for sure.  Take Nha Trang for instance, a nice park like setting separates the beach from the beach road businesses.  Practically no vendors, beach goes on and on.  After dark, fresh fish and lobsters cooked right along beach road.  Walked for miles up and down beach road, never felt security an issue, people are pleasant to deal with.

Note:  Unless it has recently changed, one can not fly directly into Nha Trang, must fly into Cam Ran Bay and take a taxi to Nha Trang so a little added time to your travel to and from.

  3. "bill comes from Condo management"   There's your sign.  Corrupt Condo management is unfortunately the norm.  They not only over-charge, charge twice for the same service, they split TV and internet signals among condo units and collect the full amount of the service from each unit while the TV signal is crap and internet is spotty.

They appear to think they have a "blank-check" to fleece the owners at will.

    Good Luck!

  4. It could be years of frustration at having to deal with daily corruption, insane traffic, heat, and overindulgences now manifests in what you consider bad behavior.  The bad behavior is in the eye of the beholder and may be a way of actually trying to stay sane, blowing off a little steam before one pops one's top.

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?"

2016 - Obama job apprval @ 49% vs. Republican dominated US Congress @ 15%. Only George H.W. Bush enjoyed a similar edge over Congress.

    http://www.gallup.com/poll/191057/obama-retains-strong-edge-congress-job-approval.aspx

Over the course of Obama's presidsency, his average apprval rating among Democrats has been 80% compared with 14% among Republicans. Obama's performance has been on par with Ronald Reagan.

Oddly enough 49% is also the number of people who receive assistance from the US government.  Figure that.

Obama's approval rating has absolute nothing to do with his administration's running amuck and disrespect for a history of government precedence.

The Rule of Law does not exist in the US Constitution. There is no law passed by the US Congress that establishes the Rule of Law. So calling it obsolete under any US adminstration is nonsense. The Rule of Law per se does not exist in a legal sense.

What does exist in the US Amended Constitution is the principle of legality with judicial review. It embodies the duty of the government to act for a proper purpose and from relevant considerations. The principle of legality is designed in particular to prevent abuse of laws by the government that causes unconstitutional harm to the public. Note that the US Constitution applies to People and not just to American citizens.

Adjunctive to the principle of legality is the principle of proportionality that requires due regard to the balance between the governmental goals and the means to achieve those goals. The US Executive branch has a degree of authority to prioritize enforcement and prosecutorial resources, recruitment, training, funds (to a certain extent) to meet its duty in upholding laws of the nation. In no sense does the Executive branch rule by selective prosecution.

The Rule of Law, like the present state of the US economy, is more of a perception than a reality.  This present US administration has done more to damage the perception by it's selective prosecution, dysfunctional and racists leadership, and tacit approval of otherwise criminal activity than any in my lifetime IMPO.  This administrations lack of respect and willful trampling of the US Constitution is another story entirely.

  7. Give her a break, even the President said she had a lapse in judgment and there was nothing to see here.  Just try to imagine the follies the US may become involved in when she uses her experience in lacking good judgment as President of the US, a country where even career political criminals may become the leader of the free world.  Is this a great country or what?
