Totally BS,
The services that bounce people out in back at the Cambodian borders get you out and back the same day.
Just had a service the other day that needed 18 vans to take the people who showed up that morning to the border and everybody got out and back the same day and everybody got a 60-day stamp,
that's 180 people who are living proof you don't need to stay out overnight

You might get out and back on your own at these borders with Cambodia
Ban Laem/Duang Chanthaburi
Ban Pakard/Phsar Prum Chanthaburi
Kap Choen/Osmach Surin
There is a very high chance you will not get out and back at the Aranyaprathet/Poipet border.
Those "I'm going to bounce myself and save money" ideas often end up not saving you any money.

Okay people,
Here is a foolproof way to tell whether your 90-day reporting was reset when you got a new year extension issued.
Ask yourself:
When I got my year extension stamp inked in did the immigration officer give me a new 90-day report receipt with a new due date?
If that answer is yes, they did reset your 90-day reporting when you got your extension and you follow that new paper.
If that answer is no, they did not reset your 90-day reporting when you got your extension and you follow the due date of 90-day paper in your passport now.
That works 100% of the time.

In many many hundreds of non-immigrant type O applications that I have seen go through section C1 out at Chaengwattana I have never heard of or seen an application denied after you applied paid the 2,000 baht and got a return date on your receipt. And I will add I have never ever heard of anyone reporting C/W asking for a backhander to do a Non-O visa..
How about you dial back the paranoia a notch or three, call that number and see what they want or better yet, slog on out there and say you missed the call and you wanted to see what it was about.

That could be it, because they are doing home visits on initial non-o Visa applications out there, I know several people applying for both retirement and marriage non O visa who had home inspections during the two week under review period

i think she wants "tea money ". I was told , like everyone else to come back in 14 days for the visa , so i do not think she would call me a half hour later to tell me my visa was approved .
You don't get told to come back in 2 weeks it should be on the blue green receipt for 2000 baht to come back on this date (two weeks out) for your results

Nope there's no chance that happens because you don't leave your passport when you apply for an in-country non o visa art any office.
At Chaengwattana you apply you pay the 2,000 baht you get a receipt that says come back in 2 weeks and on that date you show up with your passport and they ink in a new 90-day stamp and a non-o visa

I think what you had heard was, some of the services that take people to the Cambodian borders charge an extra fee for people on non-immigrant type visas or extensions whether the extension is canceled or not to get out and back at a Cambodian border the same day.
That is totally something the officers at the borders there charge.
You won't have any issue at all and there won't be any special fee to get out on a 90-day single entry non-o visa with the Nong Khai border. It's the Cambodian crossings that are doing that and only some of them

I think IF you have a TM30 filed at that address you're fine, (the TM30 is address specific NOT owner specific) and you shouldn't need to re-file at all
BUT
If you want to make a log in/user there is no App for mobile anymore
It's all done thru the main website for the TM30 here
ONLINE TM30
There are videos that show how its done and the user manual too-

Well if that's the case, it's definitely time to slog on out to your immigration office and get it sorted out
😞 never heard of that happening (which doesn't mean it has NEVER happened just that I never heard about it 😛 )-

I think what they're actually trying to say there is a limit of two SIXTY DAY free stamps per year (air or land) <- meaning these new entries don't have anything to do with the previous free entries you got when it was 30 days by land 🙂
OR
That is how I am interpreting what they're rambling on about, keep in mind though I am not the sharpest knife in the shed 😉-

You aint getting in more than twice (whether air or land) in the same calendar year via the new 60 day VE entry.
Time will tell.
Let's see how it plays out, BUT right now no one can dispute that a THIRD free stamp land entry this year is possible. Probably a couple THOUSAND people have that 60 day land entry stamp after already having their TWO free 30 day entries by land this year
Guess it'll take someone who has taken two 30 day free stamp land entries, their first 60 day land entry (maybe a 30 day extension), their second 60 day land entry (maybe another 30 day extension) and THEN goes to try for the 3rd 60 day free stamp entry by land
Get back to me in about SIX MONTHS 😜 as that's about the soonest we'd know if 😮
Actually that isn't gonna work either because there's only FIVE months left in this year, so no one could get more than 2 60 day land entries (with 30 day extensions) before the year rolls over and as you say the count 'resets'-

can you post an image of the bottom left of the PDF approval they sent you that shows the next report date?
Just curious, when does your current extension run out? I ask because several people got "short" 90 day report dates because it only approved them until their current stay stamp expired
Might not be why yours was short though 😕 just a thought-

Daithi85 Make sure you check the system every day. Sometimes they do "extended" appointments and add more bookings on days
I had someone looking for an appt last week and it was middle of August openings, then the next day it came up for Wed next week 😮 and they snapped it
So check that system a couple times a day to see if more bookings come open -

I think you don't understand how that system works ALL the appts show up but only the dark blue ones are "clickable" as in you can book one
looks like the 23rd of Aug is the first available appointment

It says I must return on that date one month later. What if I'm out of the country and can't return on that specific date? Can I get a multi-entry permit during that 30-day waiting period?
Thank you for any help
Hang about there is no 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗜'𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲? you don't have a yearly extension yet, you HAVE to return to the immigration office on that day you can't be "out of the country" you'll lose the extension and have to start all over from ZERO if you don't get back to the immigration office the day that under consideration stamp runs out
𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝟯𝟬-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱? <- Remember a re-entry permit is ONLY valid for the duration of the stamp you're on now MEANING if you're on a 30 day under consideration stamp any re-entry permit you buy now will only be good until that stamp expires (doesn't add any time to your current stamp). SO unless you're exiting/re-entering thailand multiple times in the next 30 days a multiple re-entry permit is pissing money away. 😕
You can certainly get a re-entry permit (but as I said it will only be valid until your current under consideration stamp expires) and you have to be back IN thailand on that date to go to the immigration office-

There seems to be sporadic checking of a TM 30, especially if you have an extensive entry/stay history on visa exempts and got extensions from any other province other than Bangkok.
However it's a crapshoot and some people are asked and some people are not asked, I would say if you have a TM 30 receipt take it because if you're there and ask for it is not the time to find out you need one.
-
You see this is the double edged sword part of this new unlimited 60 day entry by land stamp.
In theory it is unlimited entry on visa exempt stamps by air as wel,l but we know how that works out when people with extensive entry/stay histories show up at the airport trying to milk another free entry stamp to further their stay in Thailand.
It remains to be seen whether the land borders will jump on the bandwagon of looking at entry/stay history with a critical eye like they do at the airport or whether they turn a blind eye to the entry/stay history and just let people in.
Using a service where you pay them up front and pay nothing at the border, known as an all-in service, almost guarantees 100% that you get out and back in without issue. As a rule those services will not even let you on the minivan if you can't get out and back at the border. They will just turn you away.
Now there are border bounce companies up north that act more as taxis, meaning all they do is lug you to the border and cut you loose leaving you to make your way across and back on your own. They do not facilitate you getting out and back in, they have not pre-negotiated the price of the visa for you to get into and out of the other country and they are nothing but glorified taxis.
That is not the case with any of the border bounce companies going from Bangkok or Pattaya and as far as I know the border bounce companies in the South that bounce with Malaysia are also all in type of services, when you pay them they take you to the border get you out get you back in and bring you back.

You cannot use the Combo method to obtain a Non Imm O visa.
It can only be used to obtain a 1-year extension of your permit to stay based on retirement. It's a combination of monthly overseas transfers and funds deposited in a Thai bank, totalling 800K THB for the year.
You require 12 x overseas monthly overseas transfers.Best answer on here 👍 👍 👍 Billpro785 follow this advice 🙂

On an OA visa that you get from the thai consulate in your country before you come here you show the proof of insurance (and it doesn't have to match the issue dates of the OA because you NEED the insurance to APPLY for the OA so usually the OA visa is issued a few weeks after you have the year 100K USD insurance policy
It will be written ON the PDF how long your insurance is valid for and when you arrive here you will get stamped in until the insurance expires (up to 1 year)-

Her thai house book can show anywhere, it's not uncommon for thaiz to be registered at other places and there is no requirement she have a house book listing where you actually live
You are correct you WILL need to have a TM30 (notification of foreigner in residence) filed at the immigration office where you stay showing you are registered as staying there.
Make sure you go to the immigration office where you're going to get the year extension and get the hand out listing the requirements so you can get the documents, bank letter, photos, map etc together before you go apply for the year extension successfully-
