Pattaya officials admitted Dec. 15 that the 1.8-billion-baht plant has been processing only 20 percent of the 65,000 cu. meters of water it is supposed to be treating each day. The rest has simply been flowing out untreated and leaking from unmaintained pipes and storage tanks.

    Nice....

And no public notice while it had been leaking all this time also? Real nice way to show respect for people who use the beach.

Canada doesn't give a hoot about human rights either.  They have a $15 BILLION dollar contract with Saudi Arabia to provide them with 1000 armoured fighting vehicles that Saudi Arabia will be using not only to repress domestic dissent, but to wage war in Yemen.   Canada only cares about money and politics,  just like the US.  Thailand's government is on the globalist sh*&list, so they get turned down despite rights abuses not being even in the same league as Saudi Arabia

Yes! If Thaskin was in charge the sale would probably go through, because he is a part of the globalist establishment.

    " I have a US visa  ..."

Not sure what a US visa has to do with anything or why an American would get one.

At the embassy you are signing an affidavit which is the proof of income required by immigrations. Although it would be unlikely to ever happen, an immigration officer could ask for evidence to support it. If you're getting Social Security and/or a pension or some other regular source of income, keeping statements etc. is probably a good idea to support the amount you claim on the affidavit even if you might never have to produce them.

I have a retirement visa with a monthly pension only.(I omitted this earlier} Yes, I agree about having supporting documents. I did this the first two years and was worried even with this stuff, but turns out I have never been asked for anything except passport.

  4. Nonthwat interrogated Benjamin and learned that he was speeding his car from his residence in Cha-am to Hua Hin and the policeman made a u-turn at the spot suddenly, cutting into his way and making it impossible for him to stop his car in time.

I guess he was interrogated at the hospital? The police motorcycle had no license plate. I wonder if it had a headlight. Was there a drug alcohol test for the car driver and the motorcycle cop?

Shame you wont let the Thai police investigate the matter before finding them guilty!

So she jumped out of a window with her hands tied, hmm, OK. And then she caught a taxi and then flew out of the country, say what! No questions by the taxi driver, no trip to the embassy or Provincial Police, just straight out of the country on a plane.

Unless a plausible account emerges to fill in the gaps in a credible fashion, I say that's a suspicious report at best, BS at worst..

Yeah, sounds like a female Macgyver. The western news media is after Thailand bad these days also with false news stories, but it is possible who knows for sure besides the girl.

  6. What about the students that have been passed every year until college level and don't know anything! I have witnessed this in my classrooms, five students are excellent and most are horrible. How did these terrible students ever pass to this level and get into my class? So now I have to teach at a very low level to have everybody on the same page. I have failed students and only to find out that their grades were later changed to pass!!
