How is the water level at IT square Lak Si?
I have my car in the parking house would like to get the car out.
I am in Viphavadi Rangsit Soi 64 (nearby).... water is still between shin and knee deep in here and out in Viphavadi main road. I will venture over there later today to get some supplies (I called foodland... they are open with dry goods only!) I'll let you know how it looks, but for me in soi 64, I am waiting a few more days before taking the car out, for sure.
Correction: Foodland Laksi is NOT open today Sorry!

Thought I would share this tour of Pinehurst's North Course a couple days ago. Looks like it will be a while before we're playing there again....

OK...
Last night at 09:08 PM, a major english language publication in Thailand reported on their website "Bang Pa-In Industrial estate submerged", and that the estate is underwater.
Then, at 12:00 today, they reported that "The Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate is surrounded by floodwater, but the water has not yet entered the estate's compound."
Don't they fact check their stories? Do they realize the level of GLOBAL panic they create with such irresponsible reporting?
It's no wonder there is so much confusion in this crisis... NO ONE has the story right!
This is truly the pinnacle of bad journalism.

he is a caretaker minister who has no authority in this case
I love it! The number one thai defense argument! I did not break the law because you are not authorized to say I did.

What is the answer to that question anyway? The one with the F1 car and the tank....

Hi!
OK... I need to get a motorcycle driver's license.
I already have a car driver's license (have had it for many years.) I have the non-imm visa, and everything.
To get the motorcycle license, will I need the doctor's cert? Will I need to take the tests? Or is my exisiting car driver's license enough to have them just "extend" me a motorcycle license?
Just trying to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy... any advice is greatly appreciated!
Cheers!

People with visible religious tattoos who engaged in “bad behavior” such as “sitting drinking alcohol and arguing” would damage the faiths through association, Mr Niphit said.
Ummm... don't we always see TONS of Thais everywhere with religious tattoos engaged in various forms of "bad behavior"? Granted, the religious tattoos that Thais get are usually different from the ones that farangs get, such as religious symbols or text scriptures... but still... Double standard here?

Hi!
I'm trying to find a place that sells good, quality kayaks in BKK... tandem (2 seater) touring kayak is what I'm looking for.
TV's search tool is broken (for me anyway) and google delivers me to one TV post on kayaks... Joy Sports Co.,ltd.
which distributes these kayaks: http://www.feelfreekayak.com/
Are there any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Don't forget this guy is wanted for the similar heinous crimes in Vietnam, and Canada wants him also. After his stretch in the Bangkok monkey house, he'll be moving on to other free accomodations....

Hello All,
I'm looking for a KVM switch (I think) to set up a computer based training classroom. The device should basically allow the instructor to control the student's monitors. That is, the stsudent will see what the instructor's screen show. Then the instructor can switch the student's monitors to their own PC where they can carry out excercises on the training material.
Does anyone know where I might find somthing like this in Thailand, or what is the appropriate device I should use? I will have 10 student PCs in a training room, and one instructor.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

For me, I find that strange.
Or is it normal ?
If you say you find somthing strange, is that a complaint? Have you ever used the words "strange" and "wonderful" together?

OK... So I will be hosting a poolside BBQ party for about 20-30 Thai colleagues. I'm wondering what to serve.
As a Yank, a BBQ to me is burgers, ribs, dogs, corn on the cob and potato salad, etc (and beer of course.) What do you think my Thai guests would enjoy? I've got a decent charcoal grill, and can make/get whatever.
Any menu suggestions are much appreciated!
Cheers,

Can anyone tell me about Viphavadi Rangsit from Bang Khen (Viphavadi Hospital area) to Laksi? Is it passable in a Fortuner (i.e. less than 35cm at its deepest)?
I drove from Viphavade 64 to the tollway entrance in front of IT Square... water level was borderline but passable. Just want to see if I will have trouble getting from Bang Khen tollway exit back up to Laksi.
Thanks!
