Here is more information about probable ADHD and me.  I took a reading comprehension test when I was 5 or 6 or so.  There were 3 paragraphs. I can still see myself reading the first paragraph and being anxious, or something, I skipped to the 3rd, knowing at the time that I should read the second too.  I got all the comprehension answers correct except those contained in the second paragraph.  I knew that I should have read that paragraph too and did not know why I did not.

I was a bad boy and punished for being overactive for my entire school 'career'.

Now, when I am interested in something it is full steam ahead until I lose interest and the project comes to a screeching halt and I cannot continue without superhuman effort.  Normally I just let it slide.

I just saw a TEDx talk about an adult woman who discovered that she has ADHD. What she experienced fit me like a glove (she said this too).  I believe that I suffer from this problem and have clear early childhood memories of being inattentive and was punished during my entire school experience. (I am not stupid, btw).  In the weeks since I self diagnosed, many of the characteristics, such as being a poor organizer, forgetfulness, morning fatigue and other symptoms, (except impulsive talking over others in conversation,) are clearly experienced by me.  I just turned 76 so I can accept that some of these symptoms could very well be age related and or exacerbated by age; but my clear childhood memories seem to contradict this.

I understand that there are comprehensive tests where this disorder can be confirmed or otherwise. I saw a physiatrist at a main Thai hospital and she prescribed Ritalin 10mg which I am now taking.  She took me at my word but did not do any testing of any kind.  

My limited understanding of the discovery - treatment process leads me to believe that there are officially recognized tests to determine whether the disorder is present and if so the level of seriousness that is experienced. 

I do not have medical insurance here so a lengthy battery of tests would too costly for me.  Anyway, I don't think a deep dive into my consciousness is warranted just for confirmation of a condition that is experienced by 10-15% of North Americans (I am Canadian) running to 10's of millions of sufferers there.  

Equally, if I do not have it, the discovery could point me in a good direction to correct my forgetfulness, impulsiveness and other symptoms that I do have.

Any ideas of where and how I could take such a test in English by a qualified person please?  I would happily volunteer if a researcher needed me for a study or any other way that I could be tested that would not be prohibitively costly.

I get DTAM GANJA OIL from a government hospital in Buriram.  It costs about 200 baht for 10mg.  It seems to work but is so mild it is hard to really tell.  As in; I was stressed b4 3 drops under the tongue and now I don't feel stressed.  the oil?  passage of time?  comments? 

I use 5-8 drops with a small pipe of gelato b4 sleep and I go to sleep.  I also had purchased some full spectrum CBD that seems stronger and certainly smells stronger; it cost 650 baht for 10 mg.  

What is the difference between full spectrum CBD oil and DTAM Ganja oil, if any, please.

Comments on price of CBD oil please.

I have read that using CBD oil b4 smoking weed can enhance the high.  Any comments?

I replaced my misplaced card for a new one exactly the same but cannot change my payment details on spotify.  I suppose it would be the same for any card payment requiring an sms or some other bank confirmation process.  Cannot remember how this unfolded when I set up the account in the first place; it was a while ago.  Spotify has embraced the 'no help' help department so the pre determined questions do not fit my circumstances.  I have the account; they just will not allow me to update my payment method.  I tried to update my paypal account with the same results.  I have tried 3 debit cards and a credit card from 3 different banks with the same response.

I have some friends who have suffered bad surgery results and it always saddens me learning about them.  A German man I know had his hip replaced and they neglected to make that leg the same length as the other.  I remember the surgeon personally measuring my legs and commenting that he would be correcting the slight difference in length with the operation.

I was interested to learn about plasma ultrafiltrate from Mark Nothing.  Where is this product available from please? And can you provide a bit more information about how all that works please. (a very quick look on google did not produced a description of what you describe).  I use a skin moisturizer called Urea 10%. Is there any connection?

Thanks for a normal comment Barnet1900.  Never connected the not rub to a massage but can be why I recommended DJ's opposite the hospital; aside from it being a good way to wait for the afternoon session at the roong pa ya ban.  I have the dubious honour to be in the possession of a number of sports injuries so having an 'oily back rub down' does not do it for me. Neither does a 10 minute 'head scratch happy ending'. 

I enjoyed many hours of 're-education' (as they say in France).  It is such a welcome event to find any shop that approaches and/or equals the same skills as those physio therapists dedicated to helping people being able to function again.   

My happy ending is walking out of the shop feeling rosy with joints approaching fluid movement for a while. 🙏🏼🙂

My house book and pink card required marriage in our amphur of Ban Mai Chaiyapot, Buriram even though I have an usufruct and all receipts for the buildings that I put up and paid for.  Bad trade, as it turned out.

Decades of skiing in France ate the cartilage in my left knee.  My replacement was done by a surgeon in Annecy who only does knees. (I had paid an extra surcharge of 500 euros for the special 'sport surgeon/anesthetist team') (Most of my friends have had a new knee, many have 2)

French healthcare provided 21 days of inpatient 're-education' at a special hospital in Plateaux  d'Assey. I did not appreciate the importance of getting more than 90 degrees bend (mine is about 135) and I learned about the joy of being able to climb stairs and the fear of not.  Many people find their knees blocked at less than 90 deg. and must engage in painful maneuvers to try to unblock it or have another operation.  I saw one lady in Krung Tep who was told to stay in bed following the op and now has a straight peg leg type of affliction ever after. 

I was up and walking a day or 2 later but was cautioned about over use as the surgeon had packed the cut with painkllers b4 stapling it up(!).  The joint has no problems for me but the op involves yanking the kneecap out of the way while the replacement is being fitted and this has had some lasting numbing that occurs on my lower leg (I suppose). 

This op was good for me but the re education is essential or you will be disabled for life.  Cannot stress this enough.🙏🏼🙂

Aside from going there whenever, those of you who go to Govt. hospitals know that sometimes the process stops for lunch b4 your turn.  The shop pictured below is on the road just beside the Govt. hospital in Buriram and is a great place to be until lunch break is over.  All persons are qualified (certificates posted) and the shop is clean and they change the pillow covers.  1hr 250 baht 2hrs 400 baht.  And they continue for the full hour (or longer).  Massage well done.🙏🏼🙂

If you can get a Non 'o' a visa (the a is important) insurance is not required and for now lasts forever. Without the 'a' the base retirement visa apparently expires in 20 years.   There are some rules that I don't know much about that restrict what kind of visas are issued in different countries and in Thailand.  good luck🙏🏼

OK, so the test I just did was on my acer swift X laptop with a ryzen 7 processor. Wireless connection.  Windows 11.

The point is trying to figure out about internet speed purchased at 1GBPS but only providing 340 MBPS.

How can they sell it if they cannot provide the full 1 GBPS speed?🙏🏼

Further to great deal 500 mbps; I did a speed test on my 3BB + Norton VPN service.  I am in Buriram province in the rural north. My 3BB service is the 899pcm version.

3BB no vpn 340 MBPS

3BB + VPN +Thailand 19 MBPS

                   + singapore 220 MBPS

                   + seattle USA 30 MBPS

So, it looks like having the possibility of 1GBPS service is let down by the actual speed provided by the server.  Is this correct?  If it is correct then there is absolutely no point in paying for for high speed service that they are apparently unable to provide.

Yes TBL I never owned the land (well spotted).  I gifted her nearly 500,000 THB used to purchase the land and in exchange I got a usufruct contract. I have spent the last ~ 8 years improving the land and constructing the various buildings and paying 100% for all. 

I had thought that I was going to live here forever.

My now wife was a non participant and I was too focused and busy to notice.  You are right about the 'good luck getting rid of her' as the land is in her village of birth.

I don't quite understand the 'using them to have a happy life' comment.  My 'Happy Life' for the past years has been spent as a general contractor w/o any help from his partner (now wife).  The only comments I got were after the work was completed and they were suggestions as to how much better it would have been had I done something or another a bit differently.  After no comments when asked for pre-construction suggestions.

btw- Her family are brilliant and this could be one reason why I did not realize what a lazy person she is.

She owns the land and the usufruct expires when I die.  The condition of the buildings, pool etc. and their contents/equipment when she takes possession will depend on her.  I own everything on the land. 

I will be seeing the lawyer (John Spooner, Isaan Lawyers, Korat) next week and will post the results.

My question will be:  Just how much grief, emotional and financial, can she cause me?

I would like to buy a Galaxy A54 5G which comes in at ~12-13,000 baht.  I have a bunch of old samsung phones.  I plan to switch my 3BB account to the 500mbps and get a second sim card with that package (thanks GammaG). 

How does it work to trade in a phone with AIS or any service provider please?  Is there a cheaper way to get a hold of an A54 5G other than Lazada or Shopee?

How do you find the 500 mbps up down as a internet service as opposed to 1 gbps for private use?  I found this 500mbps plan on FB as someone pointed out. 

I found the promotions from AIS to be confusing b4; now with 3BB added it has got worse.

Is it possible to somehow combine a trade in your old phone and new subscribers' special offers?

I saw this post a little late as I just bought one of the AIS Fibre 3 offers at 200 baht pcm.  

So, with the 500mbps @ 699 I save 200 baht over the 899 1gbps plus 200 for the fibre 3 that I have mistakenly bought and will now discard.  400 baht pcm is not a bad savings in these difficult times.

How about trading in an old samsung S8 for a new samsung galaxy a54 5g?  Are there any offers on that do you suppose?
