  1. I haven’t seen the US version, but I think I’ll get a ‘Vaccine Passport’ anyway, just for peace of mind.
  2. I wonder if they’ll accept the electronic certificate on the Mor Phrom app. It’s in English (and Thai) and contains all the information they require. My paper certificate from the hospital is printed in black and white and could easily be forged. I guess maybe will have to get a yellow ‘vaccine passport’.
  3. I think you’ll find it’s genome testing. As far as I know gnomes don’t get Covid ????
  4. That was for countries previously on the amber list, which has now been scrapped.
  5. Visit Thailand 2022. Now Even More Amazing Thailand Has <deleted> All.
  6. Sorry, I should have said that I’m 56 years old.
  7. 2 x AZ; 12 weeks apart (June & September). No side effects at all.
  8. Water washing away sand on a beach? Who would’ve thought it?
  9. Judging by the reactions to it many others seemed to know what I meant.
  10. That's a bit of an unprovoked attack. I was merely saying that another poster indicated that those who didn't want a vaccine should just get on with it. I don't 'expect' anything here, even after 29 years. That said, I've had my first shot of AZ and my second is due in two weeks' time. My post was aimed at those, particularly Thais, who desperately want to get vaccinated but can't due to various factors. So, I suggest you read things more carefully before attacking people next time and stop making wild assumptions.
  11. The first question is none of your business. And while on the subject please provide evidence that she’s being untruthful. I didn’t necessarily ‘need’ a lawyer, but as a full-time employee time wasn’t really on my side to do all the running around necessary, so it was the best option for me. I continue to use my ‘normal’ (employment) extension as that gets done automatically (not paid for by me) and I saw no need to have double stamps using up additional pages in my passport.
  12. My lawyer has told me I must show a WP when my PR is approved. But she also said it doesn’t have to be the one I applied with as I’m applying based on work in general, and not a particular company. I think the OP will need to ask immigration (or someone equally as qualified) directly. I did also get one stamp in my passport saying that PR was under consideration but that stopped as I use my normal visa extension to remain. I too may lose my job in December so it’s a bit of a worry.
  13. I'm in exactly the same position as the OP, and with the same timeline. My lawyer told me you must have a work permit to pick up the PR, but not necessarily the work permit you applied with. So if you were to lose your job, and then find another, that would be OK, as we're applying under the work category and not a specific employer, which does make some sense. She also said that she thought the approval will be around March/April of next year.
  14. Again, the government ignore the advice of doctors and purchase the goods from those providing the fattest brown envelopes, I suspect.
  15. I always ask my wife to put a paper bag over her head. Does that count?
