Dumb comment.
If it was in the US, would the article state 'the police warned the Americans and all foreigners'?
Of course not, so stop the stupid Thai bashing!
Dumber comment.
Thai bashing? Was I? If anyone, I was bashing the writer of the article. Whether or not he/she is Thai is irrelevant. If the article applies only to Thais as only they are affected (as suggested by some on here) then why translate it as it is irrelevant. As for a report in the US saying what you suggested I would hope not as everyone is equal and nobody shouldn’t be singled out.

It seems only Thais are affected by this as there's no need to warn other nationalities ????

Agreed, I've lost track of the times I've heard a motorcycle before I can see it whilst driving (even after looking left, right, up & down). This won't bode well for the road death toll I fear.

beer drinking competition
Blimey, If one jug of beer killed him it must've been very strong stuff. I'm guessing it was liquor.

There seems to be a lot of baseball bats used in this country yet I have never heard of or seen anyone playing baseball. Perhaps the bats are imported to be used as weapons.
You can buy them in Decathlon, about 1,600 baht each. They have gloves (mitts?) and balls too. They also stock cricket bats, oddly. Although I think cricket is played here sometimes.

That's probably how the little thug celebrates Songkran.

Yet more evidence that Thailand is lacking in mental health services.

This lot couldn't organise a BJ in Bangkok
Actually that would be difficult, as there's no prostitution here. ????

They are still flying a 3-3-3 777 and haven't converted it to 3-4-3 as Eva, Cathay, Emirates, Qatar and Etihad
Eva are still 3-3-3 on their 777-300ER to London:

There's no point in this if it's not enforced, and I'm almost certain it won't be.

BA use a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the BKK-LHR route, which are often 19-20 years old. I've heard that the cabin is very tired looking inside as well. I always try to use EVA, but have on occasion got a good deal with Singapore Airlines, who are superb. Thai economy too expensive. Qatar are reasonable if you don't mind a stop in the Middle East.

Certainly not scammed, as I offer the driver a price that I'm willing to pay.
Then I’m sorry to say that you are a part of the problem. The price anyone is willing to pay should be that stated by a meter and not just making up fares, by either party.
