Being canadian i gotta say i hate my country. over taxation, heavy bureaucracy, a welfare system that doesnt really take care of its citizens... example: if you suddenly for whatever reason you need welfare you must sell your assets (tv, car...) before you are even eligible. now, here is what i dont get. how many countries have ever extradited one of theirs to thailand. even the danish guy [correct me if i am wrong not sure wat country] who murdered the brit isnt getting extradited. hell,,, they arent even trying to get the red bull guy back. canada sucks... really during the 2004 tsunami we had the worst relief/help in the world. a country that gives up its citizens so easily does not deserve the capital letter that goes on country's names.

What do you believe happens to you when you die?
Pouatchee replied to 1FinickyOne's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
thanks chatgpt The nature of our mortality has puzzled humanity since the dawn of consciousness. Death, the end of the life cycle, the cessation of the vital activity of an organism, is an inescapable reality. The question of what happens to us when we die is a fundamental aspect of human thought, as it concerns our existence and the meaning of life itself. The beliefs regarding death and the afterlife are as diverse and varied as human cultures. Some believe in an afterlife paradise, where the soul lives on forever; others believe in reincarnation, where the soul is reborn in a different form or body. Some deny the concept of an afterlife, considering death as a finality, while others suggest that the physical body decays, but a part of the person, such as a soul, may endure beyond. One of the most widespread beliefs in the world is related to religious traditions, where the concept of an afterlife is central. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and other religions propose different forms of afterlife. For example, Christianity teaches that the soul is judged and divided into two places, heaven or hell, depending on how one lived their life on earth. In contrast, Buddhism suggests reincarnation, where individuals are continuously reborn based on their karma, a reflection of their actions in this life. Philosophers have also debated the notion of death and the afterlife. Epicurus, a Greek philosopher, argued that death should not be feared as it is the end of all sensation and, therefore, neutral. Immanuel Kant, a German philosopher, believed that the concept of an afterlife was beyond our understanding and could not be verified or falsified through reason. From a scientific perspective, death is seen as the irreversible cessation of the functioning of the brain and other vital organs. When the brain dies, consciousness is lost, and the body ceases to function. The body goes through a series of physical changes after death, such as rigor mortis, the stiffening of the body, and autolysis, the decomposition of bodily tissues. However, some scientists have also studied phenomena that suggest the possibility of an afterlife. For instance, near-death experiences (NDEs), which include reported visions, sounds, and experiences, by people who were clinically dead, -
sorry dude, bad advice in my book then you are up to having people walk all over you. in life, if you are not willing to stand your ground then you are a push over. your advice reminds me of the guy who said that rather than have house insurance he rather leave a door open so thieves dont break anything...555 cant remember if that was you... ; 0 I still agree with you about weed even if i cant toke anymore
-
yup. and he will also tidy up the only good thing his coalition did... liberalize pot. note... i am pro weed and i cant even smoke anymore. that says a lot
-
i can't smoke due to lung issues. but that doesnt stop me from seeing the idiocy behind this guy's narrative. what about you? what's your excuse? you rather see pot heads in jail and alcoholics driving drunk? tosser jackass attitude if you ask me

Seizure of money from your bank account – many Canadian banks and financial institutions include a right of offset with their credit cards. This means they can seize money you have saved with them to go towards repaying your overdue debts, up to the full amount including interest and fees. this is from my wonderful country... sucks to be canadian -
