The iPhone 8 is .2mm ( .0078” ) wider/taller/thicker that’s less than 8 thousandth of an inch and weighs 5 grams more !!Correct me if I'm wrong but a Iphone 8 is much bigger than a 6s which is a tad bigger than my 5s. I did mention in my OP, size is important! I like the fact it can fit into my front pants pocketThe size difference from a 5s to a 6s is much more !! 14.5 mm taller and 8.5 mm wider !!
Here’s a link if you want to compare the specs .

Just for a moment - seeing the 'Dyson Airblade' logo, I thought it wuz fer dryin' me @rse!
But I can't see how to use the damn thing. Does one rest one's Todger on the....err... lip, as it were?
Or am I thinking of summat else....?
"Answers on a postcard etc"
Resting it on the lip seems like a good idea [emoji51]
I found the main problem is when you approach with your todger a burst of air is released, presumably to fragrance the area, but this air is very strong and can cause pain to the sensitive parts.
A system I’ve adopted is by using thrusting movements you can relieve yourself intermittently before the sensor causes the air to be released.
With practice, and a few good hip movements you can relieve yourself without any splashback whatsoever !!
Generally people entering the restroom while I am engaging in this procedure find it so inventive that they usually retreat to inform their friends of the marvellous discovery , on many occasions it appears that their friends are also restaurant security !!- 1

In "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", wasn't the answer to everything 47?
So 47 mate.
42 , of course that was a few years ago, now with inflation it might well be 47 !!- 2

Just watched the movie Baby Driver ( great soundtrack ) and this song popped up, reminds me so much of my adolescence.
Here’s an extended version from 1975 , probably allowing for Freddie to have a costume change [emoji848] -
If I tie up $25k here, I'm not able to touch it for 6 months and then only 400k of it.
IF I put it in a MMA earning currently 2.2% = 17,000 baht. If an agent cost 7-9000 baht, you're still ahead and don't have to deal with bringing money in AND getting it out when the time comes.
It seems far too many people are using agents quite successfully and with the current insurance/money changes, this might become more peoples option.
Yes, I agree, it’s a good option, Captain Jack was probably not a good example [emoji20] -
As YouTube have seemed fit to bombard me with these videos I might as well share [emoji51]
Actually, this is a favourite of mine,

By coincidence I was just watching the Brit guitar dudes review of Thick as a brick and he talks about how the album came to be after Aqualung, interesting stuff.- 2

Is it correct that if you use a visa agent, you do not have to have money in the bank? They arrange this for you? This could be your plan A.1
I believe that is correct but i am wary of agents tbh.
A poster on TVF, Captain Jack, had an issue doing exactly that and got into a bit of a pickle !!
So much so that he ended up trying to relocate to South America but in the end went back home to the States.
Probably many on here that do it that way but I’d rather not take the risk, I have the money so no biggie !! -
Yeah I agree about the 800k thread. Somehow I weathered that storm. Maybe because the insurance thread hit a little closer to home.
Ironically the increased financial requirements ( 800k ) caused me to prepare for plan B , back to the UK in September for an OA .
Now, due to the latest developments it’s back to plan A !!
Ho hum , such is life ????- 1

So, back in 2002 me and a buddy were working in Batesville , Mississippi.
Batesville is a one horse town ( famous only for its proximity to Oxford and Ole Miss University ).
So, having done Graceland, the casinos in Southhaven and Beale Street ( Memphis ) on our previous days off, we were there for 10 weeks , we decided to just have a drive out and see what showed up .
Well we weren’t expecting this:
In the middle of nowhere ( 60km west of Batesville )stood this huge monument to the spot where Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil !!
We were taken aback and stopped and took plenty of photos, unfortunately these snapshots were lost along with my tools when some gyppos took a fancy ( but that’s another story ! ).
Anyhoo, this crossroads near a small town and his meeting with the devil caused Johnson to write a couple of tunes , one of these, Crossroad, gave inspiration to many and was recorded by a few , although now retitled as Crossroads .
Here’s a couple of fellas you might recognise.- 1

Turning a 2 year temporary license into a full 5 year one?
in Thailand Motor Discussion
Posted
Regarding your UK license, I renewed mine recently in the UK ( i have retained a uk address ), I went to the post office as online wasn’t possible ( I think due to the fact i was renewing 6 months before expiry? ). My intention was to get the form from post office and use the postal service but I noticed they had an online booth so did it that way, the guy took my old license and cut it in half, then gave me a receipt !! I hadn’t expected him to cut it up and was a little surprised as I thought i was supposed to post it on after receiving new one.
Anyhoo, he told me two weeks but it arrived after one week so all was good.
Regarding your Thai license, I haven’t used mine in the uk but there are threads on it on or open a new one “ using 2 year Thai driving licence in uk “ for example. I seem to think some rental companies will accept it but not 100% sure on that.
If you start a thread dedicated to this topic you will get your answers.
Your first Thai license is a two year temporary ( used to be one year ) and upon renewal you will get a five year license ( actually 5 years then up to your next birthday, i got 5 1/2 years ) if you have a non imm visa or extension.
If you are on a two year and only have a tourist visa ( or Elite visa ) you will only get issued with another two year license valid for exactly 2 years.
