There's 38 million on Non O-A's alone, according to the figures supplied earlier in the year by the Department of Health in their push for mandatory insurance.
If all the 38 million (sic) were to draw out their 800k and leave at the same time, that'd be
30,400,000,000,000 baht (30 trillion) out the window.
That turned out to be an error ( 38 million was the number of visitors that year ) OA figures were something like 79,000 .-

As much as most of us feel that he literally got away with murder the Thai media are painting a different story !!
On two different tv channels they have shown the two young daughters of the deceased smiling and hugging the driver.
Like it or not this is how the judicial system works here, money talks !!
The story now is how the wealthy Thai businessman has set up two young girls for life with an incredible donation !!
The initial story of a drunk driver killing two innocent victims is long forgotten !!-

I think it is called a sport utility vehicle. This is an estate,
.....well that's what they call it where I come from, but yes, the English did call a horse drawn carriage a shooting brake well over a 100 years back.........
Older folk in the uk used to call an estate car a “ shooting brake “ not sure where the term originated.
But Wikipedia agrees with Trans that it came from a horse drawn carriage used to carry shooting parties .

I would have thought that the best idea would be to reduce the speed limit as most drivers are still gonna travel at 110 ( on a 90 ) and 150 ( on a 120 ).
In this way they will create more revenue from fines and lets face it , the driving population of Thailand are unlikely to change their driving habits !! -

I've always avoided that 'finger through paper' "Amateur" version.
I worked with a guy for many years who’s favourite joke was :
“ got my hole last night “ grinning and rubbing his hands together !!
“ finger went through the toilet paper “ [emoji20]
It was funny at first but after hearing it once a week for 30 years it wore a bit thin !!
( kind of like the amateur @&$e wipe ) ????-

A cautionary tale ... on Sunday 7th my partner cycling to the exercise park, 800m from home, had not seen or heard a dog which lunged, bit into the back of her upper leg, leaving her on the road, nothing broken, but grazed.
Straight to hospital, risk of infection was her concern, but their response was straight into rabies vaccination process.
That evening she had rabies immuno globulin at site of the bite, 2 x rabies vaccinations, tetanus.
The rabies jabs are one in each deltoid/shoulder.
Wednesday evening, and Sunday, more in each shoulder, and final ones this Sunday 4 August.
0, 3, 7 and 28 days
We're in Chanthaburi, no recent rabies incidence here that I can find, last/nearest death I found a report on was in Buriram, in April this year, however hospital taking no risks.
Like many, maybe, I didn't realise how serious (fatal) rabies is. Last year we were at a temple in Khao Chakan, Sa Kaeo, where there had been an outbreak of rabies in the monkey population, didn't think any more of it.
Don't ignore any dog bites....
Similar story to mine !
On a bicycle I think we are more susceptible, watching traffic, sunken drain covers and mc’s heading our way leave us open to these “ ninja “ soi dogs !!
Plus, the month of rabies jabs is not pleasant !!
I’m sure we all have different stories and situations regarding soi dogs, personally I don’t want to get bitten, have no time or intention of making friends with them. A shout in their direction usually lets them know I’m not afraid and I do have the extending baton to fall back on . -
I think #1 is the bypass, water is “ teed “ off to fill the tank before the valve.
Agree, 2, 3 and 4 need to be open and #1 closed.
With them all open, pressure from the pump is going back into tank and recirculating but also going to the house via 2 .-

Some tanks have feed and suction lines at low level with an internal pipe, does the same job ( as water going into the top of tank ) just more aesthetically pleasing.
Seems to be an absence of a non return valve in the bypass, therefore the op needs to use the pump and only incoming pressure when pump is down. -
899b a month for unlimited internet with AIS.
Certainly hope that isn’t mobile internet !! -
The top pipe is feeding your home from the pump.
The one below it is incoming water into your tank.
The lowest pipe is the suction line from your tank.
You need to close the top valve ( bypass ) as currently the water from pump is going into tank and just recirculating.
The top valve is used when you have no power or a pump problem, then you can use incoming water pressure.-
