Thai sales lady at the Fresh Mart chased me around the other day with a package of "Canadian" bacon on sale..."Canada! Canada! You like! Good price!"
Are you sure she was hawking bacon?

Is the non-Thai GF a muslim or the soon to be ex-wife?
The non-Thai GF is not the wife, she's the GF. My son just said "duh!" The wife is Thai but she no longer lives here in Bangkok, she went to Nong Khai.

Budgies are the way forward.
I am looking for a Senegal primarily, and would also look for an African Gray. Senegal is the first choice as they are usually quiet birds.

You wrote, "Being a 56-year-old expat with a 24-year-old girlfriend who has never taken money keeps me young. She's not Thai, which ought to explain a lot."
My question was "Why come on a Thai forum and brag about having a girlfriend who is not Thai?" Is that something special that I'm missing? Who cares what nationality your GF is?
I understand your confusion. Most men pay their GF in one form or another. This is common in Thailand. If you went to Vietnam, and you offered to pay a woman who spent time with you, she would be incensed. I can't say the same for the ladies here in Thailand. Perhaps you got confused with my wife being a Thai. She has been gone since February but still has her hand in my pocket. My non-Thai GF has never wanted a dime. She stays with a much older man for many reasons but none of them are monetary. She does say that older men have less drama. I'm sure she is correct.

I went to Chatuchak Market yesterday and the conditions in most of the pet stores selling birds is appalling. For example, I noticed many normal sized cages that ought to hold no more than 4 birds at the most, some packed with 25 sun conures.
I am an experienced parrot owner. If you're looking for someone who knows how to care for a parrot, PM me.
If you know of a good breeder, especially one who has Senegals or Greys, please let me know here.

Well, you had better hurry up with the divorce and get it over and done with before this thread expires..?
She doesn't want to divorce me. She says she will if I want to remarry but gave me carte blanche to sleep with whomever I want as long as I don't tell her details. She's been gone since February so far, she still needs money. The GF has never asked for a dime.

Sorry. But then why would you come on a Thai Forum and boast about not having a Thai GF? What's that to be proud of? I don't have a British GF but I don't feel the urge to brag about it?
1I'm not sure where you got confused. I have a Thai wife, not a girlfriend. I can't marry the GF until I divorce the wife.

Get your facts straight before you opine. I still have a Thai wife. I haven't divorced her yet.

So you pile all the mornings bacon onto your plate. Are you by any chance Chinese?
Funny you should mention the Chinese. The last time I availed myself of all you can eat bacon was in Vietnam, and I remember having to almost slug it out with an elderly Chinese woman who was incredibly strong for her age.

Good you are choosy as it is best to limit it to less than 1 kg of fat at one sitting to remain healthy
Most of the fat cooks off. It's always best to blot the remaining fat with a paper towel.
C'mon, no suggestions yet? Someone must love bacon as much as I do!

Don't make a pig of yourself ?
I only pick the well done slices, reducing the fat consumed.

Well fried bacon, around 1.5 kg of it is certainly healthy. Have you tried an equally healthy quart of lard and hot dripping drink to flush it down with ?
4 pounds of bacon equates to about 2 pounds of cooked bacon. Bacon is the gold standard of breakfast meat as you are probably aware. I also enjoy cheeses and olives. Good coffee would be a plus.

Think you are telling porkies
No one has suggested a place. Make sure they have tomato juice, I love to wash down the bacon with something equally healthy.

Not at all. The GF is Muslim so she won't eat bacon. I always end up eating 4 pounds of bacon with some watermelon. You still have to eat healthily.

Perhaps you need to read it again:
Therefore, the Inspector General has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis. I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at). In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary. Speed is very important to me - and everyone!”

As usual, the entire story is not told. Nice try obfuscating the truth. Better luck next time.

Who wouldn't expect the TV trend to be in support of Trump? Or do you mean they would have expected Trump support would have been even higher?
Knowing the mentality of the majority here, I would have expected them to think the opposite of the results.

since the majority here think the FBI and DOJ colluded to conspire against Trump, I think you may have not seen the results.

Any suggestions for a breakfast buffet serving bacon? I'm in need of 3 or 4 pounds of cooked bacon with a scrambled egg thrown in for a breather.
