    Remember the small office on Samui, then they moved across the street mainly because the officers lived in Nathon. Still had to que outside, no ticket system whatsoever. When they built the new three storage office in Maenam it was a huge improvement. Que indoors, tickets, Cafe outside. This place is larger than Jomtien.

    1. English version, you fill out the form when you are renewing, not when you make the appointment. 2. No need for either when you make the appointment. Only expired license and passport needed.

    Yes, you need to get an appointment. I only showed my expired license and my passport and was given a list of paperwork I needed to present when I came for renewal. You need to watch the video online now and show proof you seen it.

    No online appointment in Pattaya, had to go there and make an appointment. All papers in two copies for two licenses. Copy passport, copy visa(extension) Copy old license Residence letter. (copy was good for second one.) Medical certificate Proof you've seen the online video

    Everything is 20% cheaper, my 12 floor condo is 6000 baht per month. Much better restaurant options. Bolt (like Uber) is 50-100 baht where ever I go. Downside: harder to make friends, the police really enforce driving rules. Helmet, driving license and drunk driving is checked at multiple locations every day.

    You can get social security card if you work and pay into the system.
