    I never travel with it . I make copies of the visa page and front page. And use my driver's license when checking into a hotel. If they ask, I say no have .

    Have seen some cheap old Europeans gather their empty beer bottles at a local restaurant a few times. After about 8 of them order 12 or more. Pay the bill. Off to their car for a plastic bag to take the empty bottles. I couldn't believe it.

    Definitely tell him. I have told several. Most get mad at me and I'm the evil one. But at least I can sleep at night knowing I tried to help, but the idiot didn't listen. I parted ways with most of them because it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. If I see them I just ask so how much did she get out of you this month??? And I don't need that in my life here.

    Europeans are just cheap. I see it every day. Witnessed some Europeans 3 or 4 times drinking beer at a restaurant and collecting the empty bottles to take home and sell at the recycling center. <deleted>. Another guy I know is always complaining about the prices. If he has to pay for ice he never goes back. Always pointing out how his Chang beer is 3 to 5 baht cheaper than my Leo. Never understood the opposition with the price of things.

    Why is police extorting money news. Everyone I know have been asked to pay money to get out of ticket. Including me. The city I live has many well known streets you don't go down after a few beers. 5,10, 20 thousand is the going rate for smelling like beer. We have a local Facebook page set up just for reporting check points that spring up. Very helpful

    Been with thai wife 6 years. I still have control of my money. And always will. She has a good standard of living without me transferring money to her on a monthly basis. Everything I/we have is in my name. She will be taken care of after I am gone. She just doesn't know how much.

    I love reading the democrats responses here. Remember it was them that fought to stop the building of the wall and let illegals just walk on over. But now that they have a Democrat president that does nothing it is now the Republicans fault.

    I watch some of the ones mentioned but like many have said all repetitive. One channel that is pretty basic meaning no bells and fancy video editing is Sasi May and Bruce. From what I gather it was started for his wife to have an additional income stream. Any revenue belongs to the channels owner. His wife. They have just over 900 subscribers and need 1,000 before she starts receiving any money. Best of luck to them.

    You don't describe you girlfriends position. Virgin? College grad? Age? Kids? Divorced? My wife is 45, 2 kids and Divorced= no sinsod. She said her thai husband paid 35,000 baht. And a little gold. He was a painter at the Toyota factory. I paid for a small village wedding. Food, drink and music cost about 25,000. I pointed out this was for religious/ Buddha only. Can't have their daughter living in sin now can we.

    My mother in law passed this year. Total cost a little under 100,000 baht. 5 days total. Donations and the village fund covered all the expenses. There was also a fund they paid 200 baht each time someone died. In all over 360,000 baht. The family is not rich by no means. I agree if you donate 30,000 baht you will probably have donated the most of everyone. Just make it clear to your wife your not supporting a crazy expensive funeral .
