over Songkran 2017 we were walking on the Chaweng beach in Samui and my wife barefoot felt a sting lost sensitivity on her foot quickly, I got her vinager luckily nearly immediately and the pain was reduced.

Meaning some still alive jellyfish are on the sand and they can sting....

Lucky it was a simple small not what could have been a deadly Portugal man of war or blue box as I could see where she walked on.

I had sandals myself by instinctive survival.

The real problem is no one warns any one when going to swim...snorkeling...diving any times in the year regardless of rainy season..

Once I warned a Russian swimmer entering in the sea ....he ignored my warning went swimming and came back smiling...Was he immuned or not speaking English or UTI........it was 11.00 am

I find too many dangers right now at the open in those several islands to risk taking my family on holidays though alternatives exist....each day some drama is happening at a turn in each island....

We are on our own though common sense thinking and prevention prime.

alternative is called swimming pool and found everywhere at front beach resorts !

Wow, your comments are so weird. The "so" reason about guys who are 70+ and dye their hair is that it looks so very obvious and a little pathetic. Sorry, not really better looking than most younger guys. I don't give a rip if some old dude whats to dye his hair. If it makes him feel good about himself - great.

The "stupid idea that people not able to think on their own" is that men are so weak that they are sucked in to the idea that growing (looking) old means you're ugly. That's just hateful.

You can fight the clock just not beat the clock.

Not weird, it's just the comment of somebody able to think on its own, unlike you.....

Perhaps it is just me but I can spot a bloke with dyed hair from a 100 yards..sad-face.gif.7b7f5721dcf79fa4696e572d686acfe0.gif

    A wig from 200 yards....great.gif.bf6ffe431bfaff2dfaa2ebf3d8556c42.gif

    What a champion !

    And so ?

Guys with dyed hair still look better than bald guys or grey hair.

If you're dumb enough to take drugs in Thailand (or import them, or deal them), a country with such strict penalties for drug offences, then you DESERVE to be locked up for a very long time. Just stay at home in Europe and do them there, and you'll get a slap on the wrist at worst. Then again, Thailand seems to have earned a reputation for attracting falang residents with rather low IQs... Not surprising really, because if you were smart you'd know there are a dozen countries in Asia that are miles better to live in as an expat than Thailand, and some of them are even cheaper.

Great ! we are learning a lot thanks to you and your ridiculous post !

We need more smart foreigners like you in this country !

Except that any criminal behavior by foreigners paints all of us with a bad brush and potentially makes future laws and visa requirements more stringent. Bad behavior is not good for any foreigner who is a guest.

Cute little boy ! Actually just thinking about yourself ! Let's see what happen after you kill a mom and her kids because you were driving drunk ! This is REAL bad behavior !

People in the world seem to be becoming a bit more self-involved. Instead of playing team sports, they will go to a gym and stare at themselves for a couple hours. No surprises that they will then go home and fix up their hair to stare at themselves for a bit longer. Maybe take a few selfies.

Agree, girls look better without make up. Also, many Thai haven't learnt the skill of applying it. The Mrs just ends up looking like a clown.

Not like a clown, but like most massage girls.

No problem with taking pride in one's appearance, however when the dye job on an older male is extremely obvious and makes one look fairly ridiculous, then that's a different story – – – problem is there are so many of them around these days!

So wrong ! so you think that people look better with their ugly grey hair ?

This is the usual stupid idea that people not able to think on their own keep repeating...

YES ! it's obvious that 70 years old guys dye their hair ? And so ? They look better than most younger guys anyway !

Not my missus, it still works so its OK as far as she is concerned, its a LG and we have had problems with it of and on, I will go for a Samsung inverter, we installed 2 in

our living area about 2 years ago and they are very god and quick at cooling the living area

Was told by the representative we needed a 36 BTU unit  which would have cost 68K baht which they did not have in stock, plus another unit for the kitchen/ dining area or to close it of with a curtain

We put 2  18 BTU units in the lounge area which cost 58K baht, that's right 2 units cheaper than 1 larger unit, and they cool the whole living area, dining kitchen area without having a curtain installed

takes about 20 minutes to get the area down to 29C from 33C, gets rid of the humidity and makes the area very comfortable to be in

You already had problem and keep buying ridiculous brands ?

It's not so difficult to remember that only 2 brands are worth paying ? Daikin and Mistubishi !

Not all Thai cops are corrupt.

All that matters is the following

Do you have drugs on your person?

Do you have drugs in your system?

IMHO, the searches and the tests were justified.

yes, sure, most of them are honest ! But what I am sure also, is that you seem to know nothing but keep speaking...

They also test at Pattaya clubs and in the street.

With so many people positive everyday, I wonder what happens to them ?

I guess that most pay their way out, but what happens to the ones going to the court ? And actually where is the court at Pattaya ?

It seems that for weed / ganja / marijuana / pot / cannabis the official fine is only 2000 thb, but some people have to meet a doctor ?
