Owl was right. 6-0 to Tractors.
Can't imagine what the manager was thinking there, all on him that one. 4 at the back, 2 in midfield and 4 up front away to one of the best sides in the league.
Videos work fine BTW, great to see the bus in full swing.

32k in the ground to see Rams beat the Wanderers. Best third tier gate of the season.
Some crowd that. Wonder what the best ever was/is.

Brum are in deep poo poo.
Yes, I watched them last night against Middlesborough. The Tony Mowbray illness hasn't hasn't helped them at all which may eventually be their downfall. I think he's on the mend and I wish him well, just hope he doesn't rush back too quickly, take your time Tony.😂
I was fearing the worst when they held onto Stansfield and then signed Pritchard from Sunderland but it's not working for them yet, but things can change quickly.

On closer inspection, Plymouth are in the drop mix also.
Quite. On some of the Owls fans forums I go on they were bemoaning the fact that as we'd started to win then so had the other teams just above us but what that does do inevitably is rope more teams into the battle, there's only so many points to go round.

But from the Owls up to the Swans it's close.
We'll probably lose the next one as well Owl, away to Ipswich but you never know. At least the manager has put us in with a chance now after all looked lost not so long ago.
What is that vehicle you thought was a bus, I can't make it out.
Is that the hat lady giving us all a wave.

Scottish and Southern Water are owned by an Ontario Teachers Pension fund.
Many privatised companies in the utilities and rail sectors are foreign owned.
Indians Mittal own much of the UK steel industry.
The Chinese are into the ownership of UK wind farms and have a big stake in the new Hinckley B nuclear plant.
Buy British.
Hinkley Point B Station, notice the lack of the "c" in Hinkley is in fact operational, I have worked on it prior to the start of Hinkley Point C station construction which you are referring to. The A station is being decommissioned now and had reactors 1 and 2. The B station has reactors 3 and 4. I wonder how many reactors C station will have although I'm not that interested I must admit.

Is Southern Water a foreign company?
I'm not sure whether it's French owned or not Owl. Think Thames got in a pickle as well although that's gone a bit quiet. Shareholders taking their cuts and the money not being invested in infrastructure then going to the government with the begging bowl. Fact is all these companies either get ripped off by investors or workers depending whether they're publicly or privately owned.

As you know Owl, I'm a wizard at the old webmastering. So! I'll take a butchers and report back.
Easy 3 points coming up this w/e. Could possibly lift the Owls out of the rel zone; if QPR and Stoke lose. Rangers at Foxes. Stoke have toughie at home.
I'm apprehensive rather than confident Owl. They really hate us, not sure why though and they'd love to get one over on us. They have been losing but they've also been scoring goals recently.
The ground will be full of Wednesdayites all over, in with the home supporters and if they do beat us them Wednesdayites will smash the town up and cause a million pounds worth of improvements.
Plymouth and Leeds in quick succession after that game, I watch every game with bated breath, hoping for the best, fearing the worst. It's going to be touch and go I think but at least this manager has rallied us a bit, the last one was going to break all records for the worst season ever.
UTO & FTB.😉
As for Southern Water-well, just can't get my <deleted> breath with that company. At least they gave all affected a 12 month membership of Experian, hopefully that will offer some protection.

Any advice on the cyber attack that Southern Water has been exposed to and leaked mine and many others personal details?

Owls got a surprise win away at Preston.
Yep, and another good win at home to Hull last night. A long way to go though.
Ref the rice and rat problem Owl. Shouldn't you clear the stuff from below the store? Don't the rats just use the water tank just like your missus is doing to climb up the structure? Also, have you tried the rat guards around the support posts like they do on ships cables? Having that water tank there you may as well build them a ramp.
Happy New Year everyone.

Braces. Yup braces. The answer is braces.
Bought myself some last year. Fed up of going for a walk and finishing up with my jeans that far down my arris I could be mistaken for a teenager (well maybe not but you get my drift). Brilliant, problem solved. Not sure how they'd feel directly onto flesh though.

I know, watched the highlights and Dull nearly got one late on from a brilliant shot and an excellent save.

If you are serious (I hope you are just exaggerating) it's time to get out of that abusive relationship. If you think Mildred is in danger, take her with you - if not, leave her with her mother.
Losing your investments (land, property) behind is tough to deal with, but you could start again and have a good life if you have 800.000 in the bank or a monthly income of 65,000 - or can afford to use an agent.
Best of luck Owl.
I'd like to think CL that Owls domestic issues aren't anywhere near as bad as he'd have us believe. I certainly hope they aren't anyway or he'd be wise to take your advice and bail out.
On another note Owl, I see Dull didn't score yesterday so presume you bet was down. Couls you let me know again what your bet was by email preferably, I might just have a pop at it. TIA

We've definitely turned the corner AD, question is have we left it too late. The new manager is a star.
As for the blunts? Well they got beat 5-0 by the PL bottom club yesterday, arf, arf, arf. Now @owl sees allthat equalled the PL record for a club at the bottom of the PL, who else holds the record?

A strange week. Some very encouraging bits to it, but also a huge disappointment chucked in. Mildred is not back in school til Wednesday, so she can join me in going to the number 4 market tomorrow. Hope to pick up 200 pink dooks. No more ducks for now.
On the downside one of the big farms has been sold, to cover the huge debts that the Mrs had run up.
I'm hoping that the pineapple plant will give a third fruit. I will admit to watering it. Doing OK.
At school last week, every day was spent on the sport's field. Not for sport; although there was some footy. Mildred belongs to the yellow group. Six groups altogether. They didn't win the prize for the best performances, but did get some drinks given to them though. It was the 'blues' who came out on top.
Back to learning next week I reckon. Sport finished.
Found the worst soi in Ban Dung by accident. Never usually go down this soi, but it was sprung on me at the last mo'.
If I ever go to town on two wheels I'll stay well clear.
And Ban Dung has not got the monopoly on holes. There is a bad one developing on the 2022 near the bridge. About 1.5 km out of town. You are travelling on the inside lane towards Ban Dung, approaching the bridge. And!! Only one lane on the other side.
Where I stopped on the other side of the main road was horrible too. Though not for the same reason.
At least our soi back in the village is clear of rubbish. I go down it every day to clear any trash.
Rice completely done now. Someone owes us 12 sacks. Was gonna pick them up today, but the people were not at home.
Poo asking Robert about his new clothes.
Saw something unusual yesterday. A yellow water tank, in the school opposite Adjun's pad.
And Adjun likes giving Ginger a hug. Last Sunday.
This is the time of year for the beautiful flowers.
The village just after dawn.
Twins growing up.
+++++++
Owls get a great win at home to Blackburn yesterday. Saints, Peacocks, foxes and tractors all win. No change at the top. Toon sort out United. Gunners back on top.
That's nearly two months without rain now. Once that rain stops it's clear skies all the way til April.
No sign of the little ducks. Can't see the pinkies in pond 3. Some of the smaller Mekongs are showing up for surface food.
I'm a bit down in the dumps at the mo. Have to have a long listen to Maris Callas. Cheer me up.
Only one thing left to say; bye y'all.
One of Mildred's latest sketches.
Cheer up Owl, I'm sure you have a full grip of things over there. Must be a bit galling having to sell the farm though but keep the faith.
My missus has a few family problems of her own at the moment, compounded by the fact that we're in the UK and can do little about it from afar. We're at a loss of what to do which is made worse by dealing with people that don't follow logical norms.

If the Owls can't beat their lowly neighbours today, there is no hope for them. Easiest match to get points from, so far this season. Wednesday 2 - Rotherham 0.
Very good prediction Owl but unfortunately our Thai owner is out with the begging to pay HMRC, it's looking a bit bleak which is strangely todays Wordle. Do you partake in the NY Times wordle quiz Owl?
I used to race snails at one point many moons ago. I did have a particularly well bred snail that just wasn't very fast so I tried removing it's shell but it just turned out a bit sluggish. (Apologies if that's already been done).
Here's the Wordle if you haven't tried it. Just start at the top line with a five letter word and work your way down. If the colour of a letter remains the same then it isn't in the days "Wordle Word." If a letter goes yellow then it's in the days Word but in the wrong place. If a letter turns green then it's in the days wordle word and it is also in the correct place.

Well, we have a new manager and his team in place now, I think he might just work a miracle, very strong Red Bull connections with him and his coaches, something going on I reckon.
Wish Mildred a belated happy birthday from me, as it happens it's the wife's birthday as well the 19th October.

Parker 16/1 for Owls job and 20/1 for Rangers job. Lampard is favourite for the Rangers job at evens. We have Colin (Anagram????) favourite for Owls job at 9/4. There'll be blood spilt should Colin get the job.

No he isn't, he could be going to Rangers Owl. On the main Owls forum we have a RevOwl who is a man of the cloth and he was advocating SP was in line for the job and he was willing to take £10 bets from all and sundry. I found this strange coming from him and accused him of being drunk on altar wine. Little did I know, apparently there is a Rev Owl on the site who has nothing to do with the church and it was him that was spouting off. Having said that, could be true I don't know.
The manager markets are best left alone Owl, they're a license to print money for the bookies, I've seen it many times before. The manipulate the market by installing favourites on little or no evidence at all, people jump in as they feel somethings going down and then the bloke drifts away, insider trading i'd call it.

So how much to take the club into fan ownership?
He bought the club for around £30/35M if I remember correctly Owl. Bought it from Milan Manderic, remember him? Unfortunately he threw a lot of money at it as well with a boom or bust attitude to get us to the Prem. Lge. Nearly worked but we got beat in the final at Wembley by Dull City. When would that be, 2015 I think, I attended.
I reckon he's put close on £180M in and he wants his money back, so I reckon he might accept £150M. With according to him ongoing losses of £10m a season. The bloke is deluded, he thinks he can get us back into the prem. without any spending, he can't and he won't.
So if we can find 20,000 of us to put £7,500 each in initially and the another £500 a year in that would do it wouldn't it.
At least we got rid of the manager last night and his staff, looking for a new manager now and there's talk in the press that Colin wants the job.
Now I don't know if you know this but Colin is a nick name us Wednesdayites have for Neil Warnock (who is a big unitedite and an ex manager of theirs), it's an anagram. Can you work out his surname if his Christian name is Colin?????Now that is a good quiz question.
