I know, watched the highlights and Dull nearly got one late on from a brilliant shot and an excellent save.

I'd like to think CL that Owls domestic issues aren't anywhere near as bad as he'd have us believe. I certainly hope they aren't anyway or he'd be wise to take your advice and bail out. On another note Owl, I see Dull didn't score yesterday so presume you bet was down. Couls you let me know again what your bet was by email preferably, I might just have a pop at it. TIA

We've definitely turned the corner AD, question is have we left it too late. The new manager is a star. As for the blunts? Well they got beat 5-0 by the PL bottom club yesterday, arf, arf, arf. Now @owl sees allthat equalled the PL record for a club at the bottom of the PL, who else holds the record?

Cheer up Owl, I'm sure you have a full grip of things over there. Must be a bit galling having to sell the farm though but keep the faith. My missus has a few family problems of her own at the moment, compounded by the fact that we're in the UK and can do little about it from afar. We're at a loss of what to do which is made worse by dealing with people that don't follow logical norms.

Fear not Owl, we'll be back to winning ways in our midweek game, at home to Leicester.

I think we've had it mate, it's torture.

Very good prediction Owl but unfortunately our Thai owner is out with the begging to pay HMRC, it's looking a bit bleak which is strangely todays Wordle. Do you partake in the NY Times wordle quiz Owl? I used to race snails at one point many moons ago. I did have a particularly well bred snail that just wasn't very fast so I tried removing it's shell but it just turned out a bit sluggish. (Apologies if that's already been done). Here's the Wordle if you haven't tried it. Just start at the top line with a five letter word and work your way down. If the colour of a letter remains the same then it isn't in the days "Wordle Word." If a letter goes yellow then it's in the days Word but in the wrong place. If a letter turns green then it's in the days wordle word and it is also in the correct place. https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html

Well, we have a new manager and his team in place now, I think he might just work a miracle, very strong Red Bull connections with him and his coaches, something going on I reckon. Wish Mildred a belated happy birthday from me, as it happens it's the wife's birthday as well the 19th October.

Parker 16/1 for Owls job and 20/1 for Rangers job. Lampard is favourite for the Rangers job at evens. We have Colin (Anagram????) favourite for Owls job at 9/4. There'll be blood spilt should Colin get the job.
-
No he isn't, he could be going to Rangers Owl. On the main Owls forum we have a RevOwl who is a man of the cloth and he was advocating SP was in line for the job and he was willing to take £10 bets from all and sundry. I found this strange coming from him and accused him of being drunk on altar wine. Little did I know, apparently there is a Rev Owl on the site who has nothing to do with the church and it was him that was spouting off. Having said that, could be true I don't know. The manager markets are best left alone Owl, they're a license to print money for the bookies, I've seen it many times before. The manipulate the market by installing favourites on little or no evidence at all, people jump in as they feel somethings going down and then the bloke drifts away, insider trading i'd call it.

He bought the club for around £30/35M if I remember correctly Owl. Bought it from Milan Manderic, remember him? Unfortunately he threw a lot of money at it as well with a boom or bust attitude to get us to the Prem. Lge. Nearly worked but we got beat in the final at Wembley by Dull City. When would that be, 2015 I think, I attended. I reckon he's put close on £180M in and he wants his money back, so I reckon he might accept £150M. With according to him ongoing losses of £10m a season. The bloke is deluded, he thinks he can get us back into the prem. without any spending, he can't and he won't. So if we can find 20,000 of us to put £7,500 each in initially and the another £500 a year in that would do it wouldn't it. At least we got rid of the manager last night and his staff, looking for a new manager now and there's talk in the press that Colin wants the job. Now I don't know if you know this but Colin is a nick name us Wednesdayites have for Neil Warnock (who is a big unitedite and an ex manager of theirs), it's an anagram. Can you work out his surname if his Christian name is Colin?????Now that is a good quiz question.

Take it from me, he's skint. The family just let him go off and do his thing. Why would you think TUF or John West isn't splashed all over the club? They're a rich family, but not exceptionally so, not in todays terms and it isn't his money. Seem to think around £700M being quoted. He sold the ground to his wife and took a loan out against it (don't ask), the ticket prices are eye wateringly high. In respect of P&S (Not FFP) we're in a good place but we've just recruited a load of cheap continental freebies. He's skint, take it from me.

I think he's a bit of a narcissist and gaslighter Owl. I reckon he did it with Darren Moore. Wanted shut of him and then manufactured or at least embellished a disagreement to get shut. Now he's doing the same with the fans, oh i'm not going to spend any more money because you're protesting against me when the real reason is has hasn't got a pot to Pxxx in. All in my humble opinion of course. He can't sell the club now, he wants his money back and the club isn't worth anywhere near what he's ploughed into it.

Tonights rumour, believe it or not, is that Scott Parker is being lined up to take over. I'd be surprised if this was the case, southerners going up north tend to get nose bleeds. Get a few Baht on him if you can.

I think the Thai Chairman is skint. He brought this bloke in, probably paying him a pittance, he's recruited frees, some from abroad, he's dropped most of the existing players to play his new recruits that don't look up to standard. Fully expect the players we finished the season with will now be brassed off. He's isolated Marvin Johnson, won't name him in the 25 man squad but there was deal on the table to loan him to Derby, so we now pay his wages but can't play him, why wasn't he sent out on loan. Johnson is training alone and the fans don't know whats happened. Reece James another one, we had him on loan last season and signed him between managers, now he can't get in the side. Now they both play on the LHS, but he currently has a right winger playing there. There's protests being organised, Chairman releases statement condemning fans. It's a mess. Here's the Chairmans statement. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2023/september/dejphon-chansiri-club-statement_/ Blokes not the full ticket, it takes a special type of character to pee on the euphoria after the play offs, but he's managed it.

Apologies if I missed it Owl but I was sure you'd have mentioned this today. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-66975967 As far as the Owls go, there's trouble at t'mill. We've had it.

Grimsby Town? I googled the league table from 46/47. Second one. Derby County. I used google again. Hope I understood the questions correctly.

They'd be accused of cultural appropriation if they tried that in the UK these days. The cookery programme called Bake off has had accusations thrown at them due to a Mexican themed episode where they were wearing sombreros and rattling their maracas.???????????? Some parts of the world are going mad so pleased it hasn't reached Thailand yet.

Would you cover for your grandson?

It's not a tough question at all. I would not and I have kids that I love, so that blows your argument to bits. And not only that, they know I wouldn't, to such an extent, they'd be astounded if I did. -

Crikey, you got to be some sick human being to do that. What about the people that died, murdered at the hands of delinquent drivers and the an attempt to pervert the course of justice. Hopefully they all get locked up and if you do the same, I hope you get caught and put away as well. Sickos. -
First of all i'd make sure you're properly diagnosed. PPI's work by shutting down the Proton Pumps which pump out the stomach acid which enables digestion. I was put on them. Turns out it was a lack of stomach acid was my problem which in fact produces the same symptoms as gerd. I was in effect throwing petrol on the fire. If you lack stomach acid the food doesn't gets processed in the gut as it should and it rots and gives off gases which produce the same symptons as the gases go upwards. Have a search of hypochlorydria which is low stomach acid and you can even do a home test using using baking soda. You just mix the baking soda with water in the morning, drink it and wait. Start burping right away you may have too much acid. No burps? Chances are you're low in acid and taking PPI's will make matters worse. Be careful and get a proper diagnosis if you haven't already. I can say they made me really bad. You may well be correctly diagnosed, all I would say if you're still having problems, consider hypochlorydria. Read up on it and search out a health professional who would at least consider it as normal GP's are just way too quick to dish out the PPI's. I of course am not a Doctor or health care professional, I just speak from experience and i'm just pointing out there's two sides to this coin.

I also tried putting it into the ChatGPT on here but it's got a bit mixed up and keeps giving different and wrong answers, here's just one.

I couldn't wait so I googled it, the line thinking was correct though.

Educated guess Owl. Pompey I know used to fly high. I don't know if the game you speak of was a league or cup game, chances are it was a league game so I thought it could be Everton or Pompey but Everton has been a decent side for a long time so I plumped for Pompey. Question is though, was I right. I'll await the result in midweek.
