A while ago I mentioned that I had lost 20kg weight (and still off) and needed to change my whole wardrobe. I enquired about good quality tailors in Bangkok and had quite a few useful replies. When the covid restrictions were lifted i returned to Thailand and headed straight back to my home in Hua Hin. The question now is, does anybody have first hand experiences in purchasing clothes from a decent tailor in Hua Hin? If so could you please let me know names and addresses? On another note. I do not drive and get around by public transport. Does anybody know what the current price for the green songtaew and an average for a motorcycle taxi in Hua Hin? Many thanks.

I'm not quite sure which forum this should be pasted to. I have been waiting for some time for cataract surgery in UK and I probably have a few months remaining on the waiting list. Yesterday I was talking with an old friend from Hua Hin who reminded me that Thailand has a pretty good success rate with such procedures. It got me thinking that I should cinsider having surgery in Thailand. I would like to know if any members have had cataract surgery in Thailand and what was the experience, cost and recovery time? Naturally, there is a cost involved v free in UK however, due to a current accelerated deterioration, I would like to arrange surgery sooner rather than later. Many thanks.
