Bangkok Declared Disaster Zone Following Powerful Myanmar Earthquake
Formaleins replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
"With tremors felt as far as Mae Hong Son province" - You just note the level of reporting here - These idiots cannot understand that Mae Hong Son is about 800 KM closer to the centre than Bangkok, what hope is there for a country infested and paralysed by the stupid dimwits that are sadly allowed to run this place.- 39 replies

Thailand's Digital Card Chaos: Say Goodbye to TM6, Hello to Confusion!
Formaleins replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What did every one expect? Did anyone really expect this to work? Does anything that they do here EVER work 1st time? Hell, it isn't that long since the immigration system was running on Win 95 or Win 98 - and bootleg copies to boot! Why would anything change? They just love to print out forms with nonsensical English, their forms often do not even have enough room to enter a 10 digit phone number - Is this a Thai thing where bull<deleted> is more pleasing to them than substance. No doubt the devastation of the earthquake will be used to cover their useless arses again. It makes you wonder if anyone actually read their own drivel. Just go and take a look at the drivel they shat together as an excuse of a driving licence application. Every single thing they do here whether it is their love of ridiculous pen pushing or as far as building a railway line - Everything will NEVER work first time, Everything that they do here requires at least two or three attempts to get it to barely work, let alone work smoothly! Look at their fantastic Online 90 day report - issued on fake copies of Win 98, it took over three years to get it to resemble an actual program. Take a look at their immigration services, one day they have "Queue Online" to book appointments, next day that is all down the toilet and you will have to "Queue On Car Park" from 1AM in the morning just to try to get a slot! What did they do with all of those ticket machines at immigration that dolled out tickets for appointments, did they do a good deal with the Thai banks? Someone somewhere, really up in some sort of REAL position, needs to get off their arses and let these incompetent cretins that this is not a rehearsal, this is peoples lives! It gets like two steps forward and then 3 steps backwards. No wonder the kids leave school without a working brain, the "Adults" here couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Do they ever wake up and go into work and say "FuVBED Up again people, looks like we are the laughing stock of the entire civilized world......do you think we can try harder next time?" -
British Expats' Thai Villa Xanax Empire Lands them in Jail
Formaleins replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Try posting some anti government or supposedly "Far Right" "hate speech" in the UK - they will destroy your life, you will lose your job, you will go to jail (if you dare to post to Fartbook or Twatter) - Plod will be at your door to arrest you and have you silenced - This is the reality in the UK these days - just be glad you are as free as you are here in Thailand - British Justice died a long time ago and brother / comrade Queer Stalin will make sure you pay! -
Having just survived my 2nd Earthquake here in CM, time to offload a bit of cheer. Anyone here into torrents/movies etc.? I have been with Torrentday now for many years and over this time have been handed out free invites for the TD site. Generally I have given them to friends and family (It is strictly an invite only site - you cannot apply to join anymore) Which to be honest have just been wasted! Well, I got a message from the TD Admin informing me of yet more free invites added to my account. Well, I am not wasting these rocking horse turds anymore with people that never bother to use them, so I thought I would give them out to anyone on here (as I have no friends and few family) If you are a torrent freak and live in Thailand, maybe send me a PM (not sure how it all works - but I need an E mail address) Anyway, the first 4 people to send me an e mail address I will try and send you out a FREE membership invite. Only die hard torrent freaks apply, It is a pretty good site for movies but it also has a lot of other stuff on there that I never use, but worth checking out - So if you want a free membership, drop me a message with your e mail - No it is not a scam, just passing on some luck to others.

Yes, 150 Baht / Day is well below the minimum wage, however, looking at the photo, one would suspect they received payment in pies of some description. -
Just ask who exactly profits from the tobacco industry and you have your answers, it has nothing to do with health, besides, if they abide by their own laws, children wouldn't be smoking, vaping, drinking, sniffing glue taking Ya Ba, child labourers, child prostitution.....but hell maybe the unwise youth and adults need protecting against the evils of the VAPE!
