They kept that quiet I do know of a young guy who works up the road from there tested positive last weekend and he had, had 2 jabs

We all know two donkey wee from the CCP is of no use except for stuffing brown envelopes- and now AZ is being off loaded. Look at the UK - moving to MRNA as a booster even though the UK has massive AZ manufacturing capacity. All the Pfizer they are now about to waste on healthy children should be going to the old/sick Thais who were given CCP junk.

What are the benefits of a floating PV system?

    • Promotes land-use efficiency. As the floating PV energy systems are set up on water, the land can be used for other purposes. It requires no construction on land or conversion of forest and farmlands for solar power facilities.
    • Provides high-energy yield. The increased energy generation is due to the natural cooling effect of the water, which reduces rises in temperature of the solar modules.
    • Saves water resources. It reduces the evaporation of water in the reservoir since the floating PV system blocks the sunlight.
    • Uses an eco-friendly system. Natural fish farms thrive under the platform.

Four environmental impact analyses by the Korea Environmental Policy and Evaluation Institute (KEI) from 2011 to 2019, showed that the floating PV facilities caused no harm to the environment, developed a ground for fish spawning, increased aquatic plants, and reduced algae. Also, as of 2018, the floating solar farms in the country has reduced the amount of carbon emissions by 52,414 tons.

    Brilliant - thanks.

    Just updated

The percentage of hospital beds reported as occupied stood at 87.19%, only a marginal shift from the 89.14% reported yesterday.

The number of hospital beds reported as remaining available rose by just one, from 276 to 277, representing 12.81% of the now-confirmed flexible daily total number of beds designated for COVID patients.

The report marked that of the COVID patients in care 35 were designated as ‘Red patients’, an oddity showing zero change from yesterday, despite five COVID deaths marked on the same day.

Still the hospitals are creaking in Phuket - "tourists" be aware treatment for anything will prove difficult.

That threshold was established with the idea that the only possible way numbers could go up on the island would be if tourists brought in the virus. As it turned out, though, the sharp increase in infections had nothing whatsoever to do with the incoming Sandboxers, and stemmed pretty much entirely from locals infecting locals. As such, it quite properly ended up being ignored.

I agree with you to the extent that the Sandbox fell far short of the overly optimistic projections that had been made, and that implementing it meant stopping most domestic tourism to Phuket. My guess is that the program ended up creating a net loss over what they would have had without it. To the extent that it served as an experiment in seeing how to "reopen" the country, however, I think it had moderate success (albeit at the expense of the people on the island).

Never mind the expense of the people on the island- the diversion of scarce vaccines away from the old and sick to vaccinate some 18yos in Phukhet cannot be called a success. Murder?

So according to the news - only about 250 beds (10%) were available, with 236 new cases this 10% must now be in single figures. "Tourists" be aware there will soon be no capacity in the medical system in Phuket.
