"take the “Phuket Sandbox” scheme into account before reopening borders on October 1st"
What perfect sense he is making. the sandbox was a complete failure as it exceeded its cancellation threshold a long time ago.
I think Thailand should keep to its plan of vaccinating 70% of the population and 100% of the sick and elderly before opening up. Them open up everything, live with Covid as in the UK
Sorry you sandbox supporters or residents of Phuket - the sand box was a complete waste of space.
Happy to be educated as to why not.

So with asymptomatic cases, ATK tests, and lack of testing, you think the true covid case count is significantly higher? What about the death count? Does this mean the death rate is actually lower??
No idea, but the Thai village based death certification does not normally include a PCR test.

Do you mean the asymptomatic cases?
ATK tests, those mentioned by Dr Udon of the CCSA, and generally those not identified through lack of testing.
Not sure the number of PCR positive tests are useful for trend analysis
Can optimistic posters get a grip please

Yes I know about published Thai number fitting a curve with a bell end.
Lets not forget the unpublished figures.

Not true. I have recently visited Mission hospital and it was fairly quiet. A friend spent 4 nights in BPH last week for a non-Covid related problem, no shortage of beds.
Just seen the news here only 10% beds left
Maybe fake news here?

Couldn't be bothered to read all 11 pages - all repeating the same mantra - not fair
Who cares it will fail anyway - apart from some Chinese "family" who will only come if they can own land.
When the Chinese start buying land all hell will break loose.

Fudged figures again
12,583 'recognised' cases
6,436 ATK positives. (These are never added into the figures.)
Total - 19,019 probable cases
Add to that - most of the testing is still on arrival at hospital, howmany asymptomatic do not get tested (why go to a hospital), how many slightly ill who prefer home in bed to 2 weeks in a prison camp?
I agree with Dr Udon - lots of covid out there - not tested. The numbers reported by the general do not have real meaning and the trends... how can you look at a trend of data without meaning?
Good to see Dr Udon is still with us. Maybe a planned leak?

Maybe I am reading the data wrong but are almost all deaths caused by vax including CCP donkey wee - also by ill advised mixing?

Currency manipulation at its best.
Yes 100% but unfortunately not state manipulation....

The numbers reported are positive tests from PCR tests and are not the new covid cases in Thailand. So comparing trends is misleading as we do not know the number of total new covid infections day by day.
The question is how many covid cases in Thailand? How many new cases today. I have no idea. Do you???

"The Royal College of Pediatricians of Thailand, has suggested to the BMA that students aged 12-16 years old should be vaccinated only if they are in a vulnerable group such as by being obese, or having a chronic respiratory disease, Coronary Artery Disease, being at risk of Stroke, Chronic kidney disease, Cancer and Immunodeficiency illnesses, Diabetes, or one of the genetic disorders including Down syndrome. "
Finally some sense - CCSA wake up.

I wonder how many school age children (who were not sick with diabetes etc) are included in the 14.000 and in comparison how many old/sick there are.
Also many old/sick will have had the quite useless Chinese Vax and will need at least a top up or even 2 new vaccines.
CCSA has a serious lack of focus. I know the UK are looking at vax for school children but has already focused on the older/sick. What is driving this foolishness?

No. I was vaccinated in a vaccination site - no hospitals for the poor Sisaket folk. You have no idea have you?
