Would be hard to pull the old Blimp away from Gov't House as he is busy minding luxury watches on loan from dead friends.

"The Constitution has been designed in such a way that he will not necessarily have to run the election himself and yet can expect to have the premiership handed to him in a silver platter."
Says it all really. The outcome of the 2019 "selection" has been meticulously engineered pre-coup by the junta and their masters.
A pre-ordained puppet of the amart.

Hope the bouncer gets out of this alive.
These priks with money and connections run rough-shod over the law.
A brutal, feudal society where life means nothing and money means everything.

Looks like Musk may have "torpedoed" his own biz and rep by his comments. Unless of course there is some truth to the matter.
In any case, sad how a miraculous rescue has devolved into this.

"Uthen and his passenger Mongkhon Nonngam, 41, took offence when the pick-up driver stared at them."
I recall my primatology field studies prof reminding us to never make eye contact with our subjects. It is perceived as a threat among other species of primates.

I dont recall Prayut doing anything of note that helped the rescue. Very brave people on the front line, many from overseas did it. To see politicians, especially unelected ones trying to take glory and advance their positions, though such a miraculous rescue makes me sick.
"Stellar performance on my behalf."

What a waste over a small amount of money.

In all my life I have never heard of so many brake failures, slippery roads or autonomous vehicles as the cause of accidents. Fatigue, distraction, speed, road conditions, other motorists, texting, lack of situational awareness: yes.
Thailand hub of "devil-may-care" attitudes.

His life was not given in vain. Mission accomplished. RIP. And much respect to him and everyone involved in the Herculean effort to save these boys and their coach. An incredible team effort. From those planning the rescue to those risking life and limb humping air canisters in and out, laying rope, installing the drainage pumps and pipe, setting up comms, ferrying messages of love and support, keeping rescue personnel well-fed and in good spirits as well as the entire world community cheering from the sidelines.
Testament to the phrase: "Together we can do anything!"

They said the coach who was the last one out came out with the doctors and navy seals
"Four divers who stayed with the group were still to emerge, it added."
Then directly below it:
" Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen: "Sources telling Aljazeera the whole football team including coach and 3 navy seals and doctor have emerged from the cave!" "
So, it is hard to know what to believe. Hoping it is the latter so all involved can get some much needed rest and relaxation.

5 more to go.
Just popped into a local shop on my way home. They are glued to the TV. According to shopkeepers, Thai media reporting they are aiming for 5 today and will retrieve the remaining 4 tomorrow.
Just passing on what I was told. I only post this to keep spirits and the thread positive and do not intend to spread "fake news."
That being said, anything can happen.

I would be very surprised if the coach was number 4 out. I would have thought like the captain of a ship, the chief pilot of a plane etc, he would have been last. But perhaps his health dictated that he should come out earlier. But heh, what do we know? We're just the cheering squad.
Yes. According to BP report, health concerns were the reason the coach was selected.
In any case, looking forward to more good news today!

BP reporting the 4th person out was the coach.
With so many conflicting reports throughout this incident, will wait for verification from other sources.

FIFA World Cup 2018 should be dedicated to the Wild Boars Football Club for winning the greatest contest of all: life versus death. Overcoming their fears and choosing to fight on despite all odds.
The team and the countless heroes instrumental in their rescue are all a testament to the strength of the human spirit and what can happen when everyone works together.
