  1. So many things wrong with this story, I mean I don't dispute the story but the fact they are being rewarded with money for doing their job is staggering. Also how the <deleted> did someone drive away forgetting their child????
  2. Yes, I live Lat Krabang and recall it getting quite busy further along lat Krabang, I live not too far from Robinsons. Sadly some of the bars I would go in no longer exist, I really need to head down there and see how it is now.
  3. I never said that they would, your post was very clear that private hospitals will not cover, and social security will only cover government hospitals. I just showed you that this is not the case and private hospitals do in fact accept social security via their government clinics. FYI the operating rooms do not change and I offered to pay for a single room separately. It's ok to accept that you did not have your facts straight rather than continue to argue ????
  4. Mine is covered at a private hospital, you should look deeper before telling me to get my facts straight. The private hospitals have government clinics, where you of course wait longer than the private part of the hospital. Of course a private hospital can respond and say they have a full quota and will not accept any more social patients. Fact is I was at a private hospital last week and my insurance would not cover hernia surgery so they put me under the social security scheme at the same hospital, which is also the same hospital I selected when requested by my company to nominate 3 hospitals.
  5. Bangkok Bank. I have a sterling account, it shows on my app and I can transfer from it to my Baht account during office hours only, no need to visit branch to transfer.
  6. lots of drama in this thread that you guys have had to go through. Thankfully my wife just accepted my children would be better off with me and agreed to full custody when we divorced at the ampur.
  7. The irony is every one of them attacking the driver will go through red lights and fail to stop at crossings.
  8. Even these hospitals have social security patients. When you apply for SS you also select 3 hospitals and you are approved for one of these hospitals based on availability.
  9. I live in lat Krabang, even the main road has had bad flooding in parts for around a week. Thankfully I drive an Everest, I would have been worried in a smaller car. Today is much better and a lot of the standing water is now gone.
  10. its a lomng drive, I have done it without stopping. I would suggest looking at the towns on the route and putting these into Booking.com or something similar.
  11. That I can't answer. My first booster was Pfizer and 6 months had passed so I had no issue getting my 4th jab.
  12. I went yesterday, no registration needed. Just turn up with passport and previous vaccine certificate if you have one. Within 5 minutes of entering I was jabbed and in the 30 minute observation. Fill a form in, go to registration desk and then straight to the nurse for injection. After 30 minutes collect new vaccine certificate. Choice of Moderna and Pfizer. I would say there was probably only around 100 people there, only one entrance now rather than the 3 previously and no queues now.
  13. I had my 4th at Bang Sue this morning. No queues, 5 minutes after arriving I was already jabbed and in the 30 minutes observation. You could probably even get a taxi to wait for you, its that quick now. Options were Pfizer and Moderna.
  14. Don't confuse Condo and Apartments. Condo is generally units owned by many people, whereas an apartment building tends to be owned by one person, who in turn owns all the apartments inside,
  15. Look around Lat Krabang, many decent Moo Baan here, Perfect Place at Lat Krabang is a good example.
  16. 850km, typo. I have lived here 17 years, I don't need reminding how dangerous the place can be. I simply stated I have cycled thousands of km here without incident, as I am sure many others have, just as I know others have not fared so well.
  17. I'm still here ???? I stopped cycling a few years back and much prefer regular golf now.
  18. Yet I cycled from Bangkok to Phuket, 850lm without incident as well as hundreds of other practice rides. Cycling has a risk anywhere in the world, probably amplified in Thailand but it's not a cert you will be involved in an accident.
  19. I am not sure the visa is relevant, the payment of Social Security would be relevant. Other than that I would expect the payment to be the same for treatment as a Thai would pay assuming there isn't double pricing there.
  20. honest answer is I don't recall however when I look at my profile on the app is shows only my passport number, its possible I used the number given when I got my vaccines.
