So many things wrong with this story, I mean I don't dispute the story but the fact they are being rewarded with money for doing their job is staggering. Also how the <deleted> did someone drive away forgetting their child????

There are many Thai style bars and clubs. It is my favorite place in Bkk of late.
Our favorite bar is this one- สุขสมาน bar and restuarant
copy and paste it into google maps. There are many bars in that area, all within walking distance of each other. Just do a search for bars on Google maps also. Also have two small malls, Paseo mall and Robinson Lifestyle mall down the road a few minutes, with both a Tops market and a Villa Market. These malls are almost next to each other for a wide variety of chain restaurants.
SukSanan bar I mentioned has cheap beer and food and good music and a friendly Thai owner. Most of these bars have only Thai customers. They area are a pleasant break from the touristy bar areas. I prefer this area to downtown now. There is also a nice but small night market near that bar, called the Savurnabumi Flea market?
Yes, I live Lat Krabang and recall it getting quite busy further along lat Krabang, I live not too far from Robinsons. Sadly some of the bars I would go in no longer exist, I really need to head down there and see how it is now.

You just proved what I said. I doubt they will put you up in the posh private rooms in said private hospital, and I doubt you will get surgery in the hospitals posh operating room.
I never said that they would, your post was very clear that private hospitals will not cover, and social security will only cover government hospitals. I just showed you that this is not the case and private hospitals do in fact accept social security via their government clinics.
FYI the operating rooms do not change and I offered to pay for a single room separately.
It's ok to accept that you did not have your facts straight rather than continue to argue ????

Should get your facts straight. You can choose 3 government hospitals. Not private hospitals, The op you quoted mentioned that Paolo hospital is private and not cheap. I can't say whether this hospital is private or not because I don't know this hospital. But I do know 'Pagan Sangkom' which is the social security you are referring to. They only cover government hospitals and that is a fact I am positive of.
Mine is covered at a private hospital, you should look deeper before telling me to get my facts straight. The private hospitals have government clinics, where you of course wait longer than the private part of the hospital. Of course a private hospital can respond and say they have a full quota and will not accept any more social patients.
Fact is I was at a private hospital last week and my insurance would not cover hernia surgery so they put me under the social security scheme at the same hospital, which is also the same hospital I selected when requested by my company to nominate 3 hospitals.

Bangkok Bank. I have a sterling account, it shows on my app and I can transfer from it to my Baht account during office hours only, no need to visit branch to transfer.

The irony is every one of them attacking the driver will go through red lights and fail to stop at crossings.

These are private hospitals. Paolo is not cheap.
Who foots the bill?
Even these hospitals have social security patients. When you apply for SS you also select 3 hospitals and you are approved for one of these hospitals based on availability.

I live in lat Krabang, even the main road has had bad flooding in parts for around a week. Thankfully I drive an Everest, I would have been worried in a smaller car.
Today is much better and a lot of the standing water is now gone.

I don't know what your shot schedule was, but are you able to confirm that Bang Sue will give you Moderna as a second booster four months (not six months) after your first booster (which in my case was Pfizer)? Thank you.
That I can't answer. My first booster was Pfizer and 6 months had passed so I had no issue getting my 4th jab.

I went yesterday, no registration needed. Just turn up with passport and previous vaccine certificate if you have one.
Within 5 minutes of entering I was jabbed and in the 30 minute observation.
Fill a form in, go to registration desk and then straight to the nurse for injection.
After 30 minutes collect new vaccine certificate.
Choice of Moderna and Pfizer.
I would say there was probably only around 100 people there, only one entrance now rather than the 3 previously and no queues now.

I had my 4th at Bang Sue this morning. No queues, 5 minutes after arriving I was already jabbed and in the 30 minutes observation. You could probably even get a taxi to wait for you, its that quick now.
Options were Pfizer and Moderna.

1 hour ago, it is what it is said:when criticising another's appearance how about posting a photo of yourself so we can all see how perfectly handsome you are.
I don't see the relevance, the posters on here are not entering beauty pageants.

I've never lived in a condo block where one person owned all the units- don't even know of one.
Don't confuse Condo and Apartments. Condo is generally units owned by many people, whereas an apartment building tends to be owned by one person, who in turn owns all the apartments inside,

Really struggling to find a suitable location and then moobaan. Variables to consider with Bangkok traffic seem too
complex….
We don’t want to be too isolated however we want to have good access to the road to Thana City.
Another variable is we have found a nanny but she wants to live in so we would need a maids room which seems to be difficult to find.
We’ve now searched online and found many options for location but unsure about if the Google maps timings are accurate. We don’t want to drive more than 20/30 minutes to work and back.
Would the moobaans in srinakarin be suitable?
does anyone else have any other suggestions?
Look around Lat Krabang, many decent Moo Baan here, Perfect Place at Lat Krabang is a good example.

Just keep telling yourself that.
BTW, how far is 850lm? Maybe you just got lucky.
Being anywhere within sight of a highway, road, sidewalk, trail, or dirt path is dangerous in the Kingdom.
850km, typo.
I have lived here 17 years, I don't need reminding how dangerous the place can be. I simply stated I have cycled thousands of km here without incident, as I am sure many others have, just as I know others have not fared so well.

There have been so many high-profile incidents... I wonder how many low profile incidents go unreported.
There is something in the psychology of Thai drivers that makes cyclists invisible to them.
The speed differential between road traffic and cyclists is high enough that the ‘invisible’ cyclist is just mown down.
The only safe place to cycle in Thailand at the Skylane and dedicated cycle lanes away from roads.
Cycle lanes next to a road are not safe - people park on them etc.. and drivers will still drive into you there.
Yet I cycled from Bangkok to Phuket, 850lm without incident as well as hundreds of other practice rides.
Cycling has a risk anywhere in the world, probably amplified in Thailand but it's not a cert you will be involved in an accident.

I am not sure the visa is relevant, the payment of Social Security would be relevant. Other than that I would expect the payment to be the same for treatment as a Thai would pay assuming there isn't double pricing there.

Did you use a foreigner registration option (I couldn't get it to work) or the Thai ID option?
honest answer is I don't recall however when I look at my profile on the app is shows only my passport number, its possible I used the number given when I got my vaccines.
