Double jabbed foreigners are no more likely than double jabbed Thais to become infected or spread the virus, and less likely than unvaccinated Thais. So what's the point of all this quarantine/sandbox/sealed route rubbish? Just let fully vaccinated people in as normal <deleted>!

My post is in relation to another post that said vaccinated people cant contract covid, I simply said they can catch it.

You are correct; a lieutenant colonel and his/her name, which is unusual, (the naming of names). It would be interesting to know how these ranks are attained. Does one train as a doctor, then as a police officer? Or are they honorary titles? I have always heard good things about the Police Hospital in its abilities and facilities, which is not surprising, given their "customer base's" exposure to harm and injury.

I'm not sure, I do know they are enlisted police officers,  uniform etc but not sure if they also go through police training or just medical training and apply to the police hospital, being a dr there may automatically make one a police officer with a rank.

  3. I sat in the car park at the Bang Na branch last week and ordered online, walked to the store door where a lady came out and spoke to me, i added their QR code and sent the order number, within 5 minutes my order was at the door for me to take away. Less that 15 minutes from start to finish.

Thanks. Are you younger than 60 hence your comment "No proof of illnesses requested"? For over 60 they should not need anyway?

With regards your confirmation email, is there any option to change appointment, change vaccine or cancel?

    Thanks.

yes I am under 60, nobody was providing any document other than passport, they didn't even ask for the printed email. The email does state to bring proof but as I say it wasn't asked for at the hospital. Below is the email wording.

    Dear Sir/Madam

Refer to your appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine on 18 June 2021 at 14:00 with Phyathai 2 Hospital.

We would like to inform you that your appointment has been approved. You must present this email with your passport/ Thai National ID Card to the medical staff at the hospital.

    Note:

Please prepare proof indicating your name and medical history if you registered under the underlying groups. Hospitals reserve the right to deny services or postpone appointments if false information is given.

Please make sure you get to the hospital on time. If you do not arrive at the hospital on the date and time of your reservation, your appointment will be canceled.

Details of the hospital appointment are

9th floor, Parking A building, Phyathai 2 Hospital

943, Phahonyothin Rd., Samsen Nai, Phaya Thai, Bangkok

Please do post here with whatever happens... You get a confirming email the day before  or not? Your appointment is honored or not?

It will be helpful to all those, myself included, who have supposed appointments in the following days!

I had my AZ jab at Phayathai 2 on 18th, I received confirmation email at 15.49 on 17th.

  6. I got my AZ jab at Phayathai 2 on Friday via the intervac website, it was a quick and painless process. No proof of illnesses requested, they just took passport and cross referenced the number with their appointment schedule, then onto the first desk where some questions were asked re address etc, you then add your height and weight to the form and tick some boxes re previous or current illnesses, the blood pressure test, and then the jab, all told 20 minutes from start to finish followed by half an hour in observation room before being sent away with my next jab appointment for September.

    Thankfully no side effects.

Edited to add my confirmation email came late on the Thursday, 15.49.

Also one guy there was trying to change from AZ to Astra Zenica but was refused as the batch numbers were exact for the booking, you will get whatever you selected on the website.
