  1. Yes - This air is out to get you. But not 109 worse than Bangkok. Major increase in polluting tour buses and all the second hand cigarette smoke from the Russians and the other 80%. One major factor is the air movements from North to South this time of year.Thats bad air from the land masses to the North. Anyway where im from we call it smog.

Actually, I said Bangkok is much worse. I am curious about whether the OP is from a place with very clean air. I am also curious as to whether the OP smokes. Some people seem more sensitive to air pollution than others. My theory is that the people who are more sensitive are from places w/ very clean air, and that they do not smoke cigarettes. I can't live in Bangkok because of the horrible air pollution. Pattaya-Jomtien is better, IMHO, mainly due to its proximity to the ocean and increased wind, which seems to blow some of the pollution to the east. Still, many people do find the air polluted here too and FEEL IT in their lungs.

From a major city larger than Bangkok with significant air pollution, but certainly less dirt and no one burning trash at the stoop of their homes. I’ve never lived in a “clean air” city, but I have always had a sensitivity to cigarette smoke. Nothing that a little fresh air away from it wouldn’t cure however. I’ve had what doctors diagnosed as “rhinitis” since September and nothing (medication, nasal sprays, A/C air, ‘fresh air’, etc.) seems to help, so my nose is always congested. I’m convinced the air has changed because I don’t know what else could have caused this... especially for this long.

same problem for me and in February and march I take Clarityne tablets one in morning and feel realy better but be carefull No beer or alcool with this medical

  2. I bought mine (Garmin Nuvi40) from the Apple shop on the ground floor of Tukcom. The price was identical to the best advertised online price anywhere I saw (3990B) and the service was fine.

The Nuvi40 works fine also and I dont quite see what I would get from a more expensive model. Maybe someone will enlighten me.

    thank you for info

  3. Another ace inhibitor is Zestril, a month's supply of 10 mg. about 500 baht. There is a generic of that as well, Lispril, much cheaper but I'm not sure if it is as good as the branded version.

generic use exactly the same molecule means same result

  4. its not the remaining rent that is the problem, it is i dont know where i can find another place to rent at reasonable rent like this (12000 bht p/m) everything is booked out because of peak season. and if i mentioned the word police to him that im sure would send him over the top. he is not going to work tonight even tho he does not realise i know he is back at the bar working. and he does see that i am online but does not know this site , he cant read very much english. and even if i did manage to escape it would mean i could never go to any boy bar here again as he has so many friends doing the same work in bars all over boyztown and jomtein, i dont know about sunee plaza ive never been there and it has never been mentioned all the time i have known this guy

Sorry but this story isn't adding up. You gave him 5k to 10k every 5 to 6 days plus he just took 30k from you plus you buy a lot of expensive western Meals for him? And you worry about paying more than 12 k rent a month? What is wrong with you? Just think of the savings just by getting rid of the boy? I am beginning to have my doubt! Are you for real? How about move to BKK or Chiang Mai? Or get a set of balls and tell the boy to <deleted> off!!!

YES i am absolutely for real andf if you have doubts about what i have written then i cant help that, and yes i do have concerns about trying to find a fully furnished condo with seperate bedroom and pool for 12000 bht P/M electric 6bht water included in rental, security bond only 3000 baht, perhaps you may like to meet this guy and take him off my hands, i have calculated that since september 5 until yesterday morning i have given this guy a total of not less than 97000 baht, and that dont include the 28000 that he got from my account.and for that i am treated and spoken to like a mongrel dog by a guy that has a viscious temper. and is completely unreasonable in his attitude.if i ever try to discuss the situation in a calm manner

do you have balcony in your room and witch floor ???? lol

  5. The empty shelve syndrome is something every store in Thailand suffers from these days. The shop owners have the luxury that Thai people have the mai pen rai attitude, hence they don't give a fck about.

I have discussed this to lenght with a major supplier to Global house. He has a complete department at every Global house branch only for his products, yet half of the shelves are empty. When you would ask for a missing product they would look in the computer base and tell you there were 128 pieces in stock, yet they couldn't find any or if you were lucky they could locate some an hour later somewhere in a box hidden at the other side of the store. How this is possible is a question to me since every item you buy is scanned. Either people are stealing like rats or the stock management program is worthless, I think it's the latter.

I'm sure stores like Big C, Tesco, Global House or name any must be losing massive amounts of money on a daily base because of this. But they maybe don't care becasue they are spoiled because they have semi monopoly and are making money like dirtr anyway.

I posted a few months ago that one of the big wigs of big c extra visited the shop and went furious when he saw all the empty shelves while all the products were in the Bangkok warehouses waiting to be ordered. Then things changed within a few days.

That was about 2 months ago, I challenge you to go take a look at that shop today smile.png

Funny the thing that prompted my post was the fact that we had just been to the big c extra store and i said to my wife how full the shelves were and how fresh everything looked compared to tesco and that i thought we ought to start doing our weekly shop there insead , we also use the smaller stores like friendship and find them to be good as well, another thing i noticed about tesco was that there were piles of boxes all over the floors but no one there to put out the merchandise.

yes agree with you but big C is French ( Casino groupe ) it's why the management is correct

  6. If,as I am sure he is the OP is looking for someone to get a cehicle inspection done before renewing his car tax I would suggest going to any of the garages that have a sign like a gear wheel outside. THis is the sign for an authorised inspection station.

thank you for info but i try to have adress near jomtien ...i look around but never see the sign gear wheel

  7. Yep me too, fairly simple ---- some Farangs here, are beyond belief.

Shame you comment when you don't know the whole picture. The guy needs full time assistance so I am loathed to just leave him sitting in Immigration whilst I go looking for a parking space. I don't even want to get started as to why he is still in the country. Was a simple question really are there any parking spots close to Immigration?

Would have liked to be able to say thanks but guess not in this case, I really hope you are never in need of help Jombom, I do note your helpful advice was posted at well past beer o'clock.

if you go early around 8 am you can park in immigration parking if a disable with you....
