    With all the zillion words that have been posted on TV , i cannot recall just one that has shown any thought to the way the tourism buisness is being affected in a multitude of countries around the world . Millions of dollars are being lost in those countries and it has also cost airlines millions more dollars to repratriate their aircraft .Just how many agencies and the requisite staff to opperate them is most likely un-accountable , and how do you think they are going to feel about advertising Thailand as a destination in the future ?

    Well at least that will put to rest that ridiculous I'm a proud Thai and you are just a Farang attitude for a few days.

    Town Hall Helps Stranded Tourists

    I never thought I'd see the day when I would congratulate Thai officialdom.

    But I heard on the radio (Pattaya People radio 96FM) that not only is the town hall

    paying stranded tourists 2000 baht a day for hotel accomodation but they are providing

    4 buses a day to Utapou. If its true then well done Pattaya.

    What I mean by "the end is nigh" is that many members of this forum will be forced to leave Thailand.

    I don't think it will be any worse than 1997 in terms of an economic downturn. I won't be leaving.

    Oh dear oh dear, more conspiracy theories.........

    No conspiracy theory.

    Just look at the way the protesters are allowed around the terminal with apparent access to secure or security areas, plus reports they are on runways and around planes.

    Can one imagine the USA or UK allowing such behaviour?!

    And have to wonder how much thieving or damage is being done to property at the airport?

    never mind and go sleeping ...............; no US or UK airplane on the tarmac but you can buy a ZODIAC in pattaya to escape by sea and gulf of siam

    Does anyone know where the bus from Utapao stops in Bangkok? Due to pick somone one up tomorrow, perhaps I should drive to the airport itself but have no idea how to get there and I know that parking facilities are limited. Any knowledgable help would be deeply appreciated.

    with the mess around u tapao airport i think it's more easy for you to take a bus at ekamai station ( sukkumvit ) to pattaya

    and an other bus from pattaya to u tapao

    2 Professional Bag Snatchers Caught Following Complaint From Hungarian Tourist.

    Just after 5am on Wednesday, Police Major Wittaya from Pattaya Police Station received word that a foreign tourist and his Thai Girlfriend had become the victim of a bag snatch which had just occurred on Jomtien Beach close to the Soi Chayapreuk Intersection.

    Two men were arrested in Soi Chayapreuk some time later. They were named as Khun Pairort aged 20 and Khun Danookpon aged 21.

    They were caught in possession of a handbag belong to Khun Boowar aged 29 who was accompanied by Mr. Saboo Ratsaro of the same age from Hungary.

    The victims confirmed that the two suspects snatched the bag from the front basket of the victim’s motorbike. He was driving home at the time when the two suspects drove close to them and took the bag.

    We understand the bag was then taken out of Pattaya and the two men then returned to the area to conduct further bag snatches.

    They confessed that they have been bag snatching for some time. They are now behind bars awaiting a court appearance.

    For such a massive project , Does the developer and also builder have the correct expertise to complete such a massive project , from what i have read the developer has done nothing even close to such a project ,makes me wonder if they ever do sell it and start if they can actually complete it .

    answer to the question concerning expertise !

    the developer have qualification in germany 20 years ago like " hair dresser "

    and coming in thailand with a few thousand bath in his pocket !

    Or only deal with developers that will set up an Escrow Account so that you don't lose your money.

    and a good lawyer to check it is "Bomb Proof" and not a pretend to be Escrow Account.

    And that will only ensure you will get your condo as detailed in the contract, but one thing for sure it will look nothing like the artistic drawings of the developers advertisings when completed.

    yes but concerning the best company "we know" you never sure ! for myself i have the condo with them in number 3 ............... but i never receive the tittle ....and the court need more than one year to give conclusion........................

    for the bigger one in thailand ............. customer must pay after 20%deposit ............ 60% for 36 month .............................; but nothing move .........if they don't pay they loose everything .................;hope you understand .............................in half words .....................................
