I hope you are aware that the wife's approval is an automatic approval for her to do the same. Maybe thats what she's really been waiting for all along. Then her activities would be openly acceptable by her family and peers. With you being the bad guy, not her fault.

Followup: I got my first order of dark roast beans from Red Cliff Coffee yesterday and I did a course grind. The 250 g. bag filled my coffee container. I drank a really good mug of coffee this morning and it had no acidic after taste at all. Definitely worth a monthly order or the size up on my next order. Thanks again.

I just ask the bank to take the letter fee out of my account and they update my book at the counter showing this same day transaction. And I have the bank's receipt. Showing a transaction the same day you go to the IO is all that is require. No deposit needed. My bank does it for me and gives me two stamped and signed letters, not a copy. You just have to ask.

I agree, as long as I get a permission to stay stamp good until I get my extension stamp then there is no stress at all in my mind concerning a petty 30 day wait. IO is 40 minutes away even out here in the sticks along the Mekong. We go into the Provence capital once or twice a month anyway. Like you said, everything I need is scanned into the laptop with my own scan printer. I print one selectively collated. Again full collated. Two stacks, one with a sticky note stating Originals. The IO stamps every page with a signatures stamp. Then goes through page by page pointing where each signs. My life here is not so so complicated that I have to worry about silly little things like waiting 30 days or even 90 day reporting. I am very glad that we don't have to fly and stay in Bangkok anymore. It's well worth doing all of the minor bank stuff to avoid what's really otherwise a stressful hassle. I hated living/working in NYC and Atlanta so Bangkok definitely has nothing I want. OP. My wife would only tell me something like this after she had already bitten someone's head off. She is not afraid of confronting anyone. Even me. I've seen her in action a few times dealing with trash in our village. Something to think about why she did not stand up for the both of you? If you had the virus then she also would probably have it.
