  1. Waste of time, as much damaged audience as the girls, and think they actually helping girls by using and abusing them, especially directed against yung girls and boys who for one or other reasons ending up selling their body, nder legal age illegally. most girls and boys do mot sell their body no matter life experiences or where they come from, but most pro child prostitutes often comes from broken homes and easily trafficked under the right circumstances, and some here try to make acceptance for that as normal
  2. Normal for many who live in Isaan. Of course all depending on the kid want ro do it. Some kids need more stimulus than others, some is good at sport, some school, and very few both
  3. Then you should know there is more complicated than just want to sell their body. Their social environment, mental health, economic, and more. F sake, grown up men, making poor explanations for why under age girls selling their body
  4. You would do just fine as a social field worker, who see trends and make conclusions how underage girls ends up in bordellas
  5. Im so tired of these young girls love guys blaiming the girls and making excuses on their behalf!
  6. So, no emphasis with underage girls being sold in karaoke bars? The law is clear who is allowed to work in such bars. Why you even doubt their innocents? Seriously you have a problem
  7. When tattoos became a hipster thing, it killed itself ????
  8. I was going to say, it is a mental thing, and you describe it well
  9. Yep, thats why we pay heck of amount of taxes! Even provide housing, and emergency money when back, and pension until you die. Least monthly pension pay is pr today in baht 840 390 baht Just a few months ago, it was 950k, but due to weaker kr, it is now only 840k If my wife move to Norway, it is the amount she will get at 67 years old, without ever working in the country. And if lived 20 years minimum, she can also export her pension, and if less, she need to live minimum 6 months in Norway to keep it.
  10. If its a crime, it is your duty to report it! Not so complicated, and if you are or have been part of his administration, you can be prosecuted for not.
  11. Depending on who you ask on this fora!
  12. I have to add, one guy I known for a few year now, pay police 5k a month to run his resort with a full scale bar and restaurant with his wife as owner. He chat, and serve beer, and also taking care of payment etc. No WP There is a middle way, and not necessary to be so profiled, because if they want to take you, and for some reayget their eyes on you, they most likely will make an example of you, vut never heard anyone outside a populated tourist area been cought yet.
  13. Where are you guys located? Many foreigners helping out their wife for decades in less populated tourist areas without any problems, but as said, it is more about location than what work and how much help they give. Risking it all for nothing comes to mind
  14. So when you do not like one specific behaviour, you are racist? On paper you are right, but we are talking about human beings here, like you and me
  15. And my experience, remember we all speak by experience as well available researches and what we read, and what we actually digest and choose to believe no matter it is true or not, we all are influnced by a mix we think are right or not. When a pattern of behavior is linked to one specific ethnicity, is it racism or is it pure behaviour related?
  16. As long you are able to distance yourselves to every possible feeling of intolerance, it might be so, but at some point, you also feel discomfort by other people, not necessery by race, but by apperance, and when that feeling repeat itself enough times, most people create instinctly a reaction and a strong feeling of discomfort. Working in the eastern part of Oslo when our new citizens (muslims) started to become the majority of this part, was an interesting experience. Many people who had lived there in generations was now pushed out and did not feel welcome anymore. How would you felt if you where invaded in such way? Kids established gangs, drugs, robberies, women was harrassed, etc It is easy to distance yourself from it, because you do not live there, and I did not live there myself, I was just a security working day and night.
  17. It is a quite interesting project, convincing people not to be judgemental, or even racists which is one of the fundemental surviving skills humans had since the beginning, and is the most natural fear we instinctly cultivate when we meet challenges in society be it economic, pandemics, war, or hunger. Yet we can also be surprisingly intolerant of each other. If we are completely honest, there is perhaps a little bit of xenophobia, racism, sexism and bigotry deep within all of us, if we would only allow it. Luckily, we can choose to control and suppress such tendencies for our own wellbeing and the good of society. we are a living experiment for time being, but I do not say I dissagre with you, but I am confident my intolerance could make a step further when I had enough of stupidity, and enough experiences with one type of people which you find most places, and not only related to race. Ignorant sex tourists is one of them who think it is their right to exploite poor women, and as well expect respect from the Thai people at the same time. https://theconversation.com/is-racism-and-bigotry-in-our-dna-135096
  18. Well, I have experienced thaid avoided me in shops, especially when not wearing a mask, and also even with a mask. And I do not take that personally. Thais are racists, so are we even we do say we are not! That was my point
  19. But most Thais I meet is judgemental against foreigners. Isaan people against Cambodians especially, and if you move around, there is always some groups rhey do not like. Do thai like Nigerians? How about this forum, russians and Indians, ever seen how they are described here? Im not free of guilt, just pointing out the obvious
  20. Where are you located? Chiang Mai? Most helmets is shaped and sized different in Thailand, so you need to try them on before buying. Panda rider will get you one, and send to you if you contact them directly if not able to go to Bangkok, or pattaya where I believe easier to find one.
  21. Well, the thing is, Im less concerned about people around me, and do not actively monitoring my response which would be a bit creepy? If you are a positive person, I guess you receive more positivity, as well do not analysis every single person around you.
  22. with a genuin smile and apperance, you will see people smile back at you. My surroundings feedback is very much based on my apperance, and not the way around.
  23. When you build something based on entertainment needs especially aimed at foreigners, and adopt to those needs, I guess you are as far from the original thainess as possible. Im not going to argue with you, but still. We have been travelling alot more where thai people have spent their holidays the last years, and it is different from all other cities where you find the majority of visitors being foreigners. We might find changes now, as more Thai people travel to typical tourist places?
  24. Real Pattaya, hua hin and Patong, used to be real fishing villages, and long gone
