I guess thats why some trives in Isaan, and most do not! Im okay with myself doing my things, and always been good to entertain myself as well keep myself busy with projects. Mostly done egoistic sports, and very little team sports, as well used to work independently by myself and not dependent on coworkers most of my life. It all comes down to dicipline and energy and be willing to do something for yourself.

Me to, but nice to meet up with someone once and awhile, and get some air out after spending a month with family in Isaan. Even time pass by quick, it is necessary to get out on the road, and see people again

Where you live? Or where have you been looking? Many motorbike groups from scoots to big bikes meet regulary, playing pool groups, even board gaming, vird watchers, walking groups, wine clubs, golfing, diving, tennis, soccer, card playing What is your interests?

Mostly where foreigners live. Hua Hin have several groups from sport to just meetings with different themes, and also do some community work, help animals, picking garbage etc Facebook is a great tool to find such groups. You can also ask here making a new thread with your location. If no success, pack up and move if lonely to a place with more social meetings suited for you. The biggest issue I have with being social in Thailand, is alchohol is a premise for most foreigners, with one exeption gym and maybe bicycling groups, who I found rarely socializing outside activity. They meet, do their work out and go home. Anyway, spending a few hours at a gym 5 days a week if lonely, cant harm you, and useslly nice people to meet, and who knows,

Work scedule? Get a dirt bike, lot of thais to ride with, and even falangs in the area Power bands best homegym ever A little attetude change if well paid and also decent work scedule.

No we are here for a good life,! Obviously meaning different for different people. For some it means lady entertainment, for others a healthy life countryside with fresh food and something to wake up to every morning.

Sad and funny at the same time. I have found genuine people everywhere in Thailand, and what to say? I guess Im okay to distance myself to those people immediately, and carry on, and thats maybe why I do not have many friends in Thailand, but my wife and her family, I know well, they do not ask for freebies, or expect any freebies, they work for what they get. Even falang friends who run business unfortunate do not seperate friendship or business, and some rightfully do of course in the nature of survival.

Well, thats another sad outlook at marriage with Asian. Im positive it is not my experience, and if so was, I had left long time ago admitted I choosed wrong partner. It is what I calling victimize yourself with bad excuses for one or another reason.

We all colour our existence, expectations and experiences how we want them to be based on our own situation. Thats okay, and how it should be. What is not okay, is to categorize other people based on your own experiences and how you see your life.

So, did you end up with all these nice rich women? Have you seen the Thai Thai dating scene lately, and how these princesses interact with their prince charming around Thailand on their small holidays? I do not say a poor man can end up with a woman of higher rank, but it is rear. We are not talking about poor, low educated, divorced, single moms, neither marked in any way, and those who just want to play with a boy toy, we are talking about decent women, with education, with parents with expectations.

If you want a nice garden and also maybe some fruit trees, it need to be maintained. If a fruit tree makes a mess, then you are a lazy gardener, and maybe also do not collect the gifts given by tree ???? Ants is a problem with a fruit tree, but limited to the source of fruit which is not picked in time. Maintenance is a key word, and that means pruning and collecting.
