Do you carry your passport with you?
Hummin replied to Hummin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Wow, never experienced any of that in 20 years. Just the 5 last few years I had thai DL, but never asked to provide any id yet except stopped in speed controll or normal check ups which only requires a DL. -
Do you carry your passport with you?
Hummin replied to Hummin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I thought a minister did go out and said nobody should worry about going out without a passport on them after several incidents in Pattaya with the police? I have useally a copy with my insurance on my bike, and on my phone while travelling, but going out for a dinner and a few drinks, I often go out without anything except money. Maybe my thai driving license in my pocket sometimes. However Im quite sober, so not getting dead drunk. -
Free-climbing Tourist facing charges for climbing protected limestone cliff
Hummin replied to webfact's topic in Krabi News
Did he free climb or free soloing. Guess most do not know the difference! One is with rope and harness the other not. Climbing in Krabi, we stayed away from a few sacred walls and trees to not upset the local Buddhists. -
How to get a stray cat out of our house.
Hummin replied to khaepmu's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
Where do you live? Is there any animal shelter replacement org close to you? If so they can help you out next time to move the cat, and the neighbors will not Poison it. If you care what is going ro happen to it. If not, the neighbors will take care of it sooner or later. -

Really? A dog vs cat ???? -
Someone have tried to protect the red bull ear, but the case have to much evidence and the case is highly profiled, but still he is on the run with help from his family. However in the cases from Koh Tao, no one can know what really happend, and the more sure you are about knowing something you can now anything about, the bigger idiot you are. Generally spoken!

Without saying anything else, or take a stand for Putin, who do not want their country to be great again, cost what it takes to make it happen? Some people forget easily where they come from when there is another elephant in the room! I do not like Russians to much, but it can be said about any nationality there is to many off in one place. Especially in Pattaya.

The thing is, anything can be said and we will believe whatever we want to believe by intuition or by leading well placed stories. Nobody really knows what happened except the murder or murders! We are just manipulated to believe what we believe, no matter what it is, murder on Koh Tao, climate changes or Biden versus Trump. To be true, I know Koh Tao have a bad reputation, but to say I know anything would be in best case stupid

Are tip requests getting out of hand ?
Hummin replied to Social Media's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
I usually read the whole article if there is one, but I never check the forum which I now see is USA and Canada. I think OP should take this one on his shoulders Anyway thanks -
Koh Tao is an party animal island, but strange Phi Phi island doesn't have the same reputation. There have been murders on Koh Tao, and that leads up to the fact of a corrupt island and a well respected and feared family. Some is true, some not, but doesn't take away the bad reputation from the island, which will live forever. I have lived on the Island for three longer periods, but I didn't see anything suspicious other than stupid intoxicated tourists and locals who drive motorbikes without helmets going from one end to the other dead drunk. As well Thailand and Koh Tao is like an magnet to strange people, or call it mentally I'll.

Yes, and if you read the article, it is well explained there as well. It is a cycle, warm sense clouds search for cooler areas and some parts have growth of ice, and other parts losing rapidly more than ever. Sober prediction on water rise in 100 years is significant high and will lead to catastrophic scenarios for many countries and humans, even 28 cm doesn't say much for some, but if you live by the sea, and know how water level changes with wind, moon, waves you know 28cm is dramatic. But not going to spend time to try to explain, you have experience it yourself to understand the consequences.

The warmer climate world wide, will change wind and sea streams. Warm clouds travel to cooler areas, and will not benefit dry climates as you think. We also know humans did set fire on forests to hunt and grow maybe already 50 000 years ago. Sahara had the biggest lake and huge river systems as well forests. What happened. One question, if simultaneously happenings with volcano eruption or asteroid hitting earth and our human activity on top of it, we just do not have any buffer left do we? I mean if someone believes human activity do not harm us significant enough to create a climate crises? We know we will have either sooner or later. And we should calculate for it. The dark winter is coming

Everyone should take their time to read this one. No doomsday predictions, sober and well explained what they know and do not know. Glaciers in motion RISING SEA LEVELS Glaciers are constantly in motion, and seasonal melting and growth are part of a natural cycle. It’s normal for glaciers to flow and for parts of them to break off as icebergs (known as calving). It’s also normal for glaciers to melt during the summer and grow during the winter. Ice sheets shrink when the amount of ice lost through calvings and melting is greater than the amount of new snow and ice added to the ice sheet through fresh snowfall. https://www.asoc.org/learn/antarctic-ice-and-rising-sea-levels/

Controversial media influencer Andrew Tate arrested in Romania.
Hummin replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Just saw the dangerous rise of andrew tate documentary by Vice. www.nrk.no got it for free if you have vpn. Let me know what you think. Did the matrix get him and he is innocent, or is he the crook and violent <deleted> he seems to be in my eyes! Is it true one out of one hundred who claimed rape ending up in court with eviction? Why do so few rape cases go to court? https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-48095118 Documentary by Vice https://www.vicetv.com/en_us/video/the-dangerous-rise-of-andrew-tate/63b846eccd1b8108af2ed424 -
The main problem, is Thai police is not trustworthy! Thats why doubt always makes colored stories with friends and family's in disbelief they killed themselves or falled off the balconies without any help! It will be awhile if ever anyone is willing to trust thai police expertise or if they are paid off to cover up! I have myself seen and been witness to a guy crash dead drunk, called his police friend, and walked free. The police officer also made a deal with the insurance company for him! After that I believe anything is possible.

Hummin replied to Startmeup's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Availability for workers who can work and is reliable. Our district had a positive development actually during covid, where people came back home and started up business, bought land and building homes. The land prices almost doubled as well, and farmland being used for houses now. So something positive happend during covid in our district.
