  1. I do have my 200k soon on Thai roads, 130 on motorbikes. Doesn't matter how experienced you are when everyone else is complete idiots. Pure statistics. Anyway, so far so good, and only expected near misses so far, and a few dogs who got a few more days to bark at the moon.
  2. Only the inexperienced and stupid get bitten by sharks. With little bit experience and knowledge you will most likely never be a snack. Can't say the same about Thai roads
  3. That's what we have to deal with Risk versus pleasure, and when the risk is greater than the pleasure, time to quit

Kwasaki died in a motorbike accident a few days ago, and one member posted a pic and his Facebook page in his memorial tread, pluss several social media posts. Thats what it is about. I still believe his fb page is present in the tread.

The whole point with an anonymous forum, is to stay anonymous even you might get in contact with a few members, or you write something personal a few could reckonize who you are. Still you expect to be respected and not blast your real id even you are dead. There have been many debates past the years Im sure you would not let your family read, even the context and nature of the forum is what it is.

After learning deceased members social media profiles with pictures being linked to their knick name here at AseanNow, and still have is disappointing. Disappointed of members who post such info. Any others who feel the same? Any good reasons your knick name should be linked to your real name and social media?
  12. Weed should be controlled for strenght and contamination. Surten strains and potency is more likely to give people who are disposed for mental issues psyckoses as one reason.
  13. Is it now time to say "I told you so"? As anything else, we still have to wait and see, nothing is clear before they start closing shops and arrest people again.
  14. You sign a disclosure and giving them all your latests visits to doctors and hospitals, so, yes, they can do, and if not, you will not get any insurance. If you witheld information, you can experience rejection for a payout or gaurantee for hospitilation. Good luck
  15. Did I say what I believe ? I keep my connection, appartment, my founds, pay tax, keep my social security and still working occasionally ???? I will never cut my ties, but you are so blinded and fixated on your ideas, and generalize to much because you believe what you experience, is true for everyone. What you think and believe about the majority, might not be true. And those who did cut ties, maybe have no bether options than to stay put. Going back with no funds, would be hard for most. What safety net do you have?
  16. Life is boring if you dont do anything about it, but boring is good for the contrasts. Anyway, if you are interested in life around you, create your little bubble, and have possibilities to take holidays boring days pays off to. It is all about creating contrasts. Food? My wife is a great chef, and we also visits fine dining monthly if not more often.
  17. We will see what is going to happen sooner than later, or if this is just empty rhetoric Russia running out of options except to engage in head-on clash with NATO — Medvedev https://tass.com/politics/1680669
  18. There is several border conflicts that can escalate under the right circumstances. Armenia and Azerbaijan is a heating conflict because of Russia is for the moment short of arms, and someone will take advantage. Kosova Serbia? Moldova, Georgia, Chechnya, all this countries can escalate a conflict as quick Russia put more resources they do not have in to Ukraine. what about Irland? Still unsolved issues there The peace in Europe we had, have no guarantees to continue if we let go of Ukraine. To late for peace talks now, but it could had been solved temporarily with giving up Crimea, and a peace treaty making Ukraine a buffer zone between Nato and Russia, but as said to late by three years soon.
  19. Life is all about contrasts and add meaning and purpose to have life worth living, and that will always be different for each individual. Some is happy to just do what everyone else doing and try to fit in as best they cant, and few others constantly seeking out to evolve. OP might think he have the answer, but seems a bit unmature.
  20. Okay, same approach as in Afghanistan and Tsjetsjenia? War is strategy and time, and also about available personnel and keep them alive, lines of supplies, risk, keeping Russias borders safe, and right now at the Norwegian border 20% of the soldiers is gone because of the war in Ukraine. Verified in Norwegian news channels, Time will show, and as we know how Tsjetsjenia went, Putin have time. If you have time, read yourself up on the Tsjetsjenia war. A war no western country bothered to support in same way they support Ukraine now. https://www.foxnews.com/world/russian-troops-withdraw-norway-border-drop-since-start-ukraine-war-official
