IMDb says they shot in Cairo as well. I'll bet it was hotter there than Thailand.

If they do this, who decides where the cut off point is?
I doubt I would ever be judged "too wealthy" to be entitled to SS benefits, but you never know.
Maybe they count your 800k in a Thai bank account against you.

Time to use the 25th Amendment to replace Trump. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

this is only fair. Before the election the UK sent people to campaign for harris
And it was a stupid, counterproductive thing to do. Trump got a lot of mileage out of it on social media.

The Trump administration has dispatched a team of diplomats to the UK to investigate what it views as a troubling erosion of free speech rights, particularly regarding pro-life activists. The five-person delegation from the US State Department's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor spent several days in the UK, conducting interviews and meetings to assess what officials described as the shrinking space for dissent
And, as a result, there will be a natural inclination in the UK to prop up Starmer and criticize the US for interference in British affairs. Trump will only make it worse for those being harassed and locked up for social media posts.

Do China and Russia still do the letter? Or are there other restrictions on them?

I came to Thailand right as the iPhone was being introduced and before it and its competitors were commonplace. Life was less hectic. Still had access to digital archives and banking with online desktop computing. More ATMs were present. More bank branches were available. Immigration extensions were easier to go through. No cameras on every street. Faster and easier to rent houses. It was simply better.

No alternative now. Either Trump is an idiot or a Putin accomplice or both. It is true that Europe needs to take the lead in Ukraine and the US needs to shore up Asia. But Trump isn't doing either. Instead, he's threatening Japan, Taiwan, and failing on the Philippines. And wants a Nobel Prize for peace.

Now tariffs are delayed until July 9. Crash stocks on Friday, and buy while everyone is selling, and pump stocks on Sunday with a "delay." He played this dump and pump game all throughout his first administration. Insiders making fortunes, while the country and its businesses burn to the ground. Self serving pile of dog crap.
Quote“I agreed to the extension — July 9, 2025 — It was my privilege to do so,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He cheats at and lies about his golfing, too. It's the nature of the man.
Quote"Trump doesn’t just cheat at golf," Reilly wrote. "He throws it, boots it, and moves it. He lies about his lies. He fudges and foozles and fluffs. At Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, the caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: 'Pele.'”

How can the USA suffer four years of this self inflicted American carnage?
Yea, he's finally done it. I've always held GW Bush as the worst president in American history who inflicted the most damage. But Trump over the past couple of weeks has surged past him to become the worst by an easy margin.

How can any business plan to do anything, outside or inside the US, when Trump's chaotic policy of tariffs up, then tariffs down, then up, then down, then up is changing based on his personal whims?

Are they threatening to riot? I thought they were supposed to be mellowed out by all this stuff.

310.2 There you go; the UK has slightly higher gold reserves than Thailand (234.6 metric tons). The U.S. has a GDP 54 times that of Thailand, but barely 35 times the gold reserves, not to mentio
Is GDP to gold then the determining factor?

Hovering around 35 & 36 to $1.
I remember, 28, I’m prepared to weather that again too.
As its Trump stated desire to gut the value of the dollar (he got it down to 29 during his first administration), you may get your wish.

I still don't get it. Thailand doesn't compare to the US according to your chart, per capita or otherwise. At the same time the UK isn't even on that list and the British pound has gone up from 43 to almost 44. I just don't get it. Trying to understand, but can you elaborate?

Question: why does the rising price of gold increase the value of the baht and how does Thailand export so much gold, when there is almost no gold mined in Thailand? I would think Thailand would import much more gold than it buys.
