It seems the 1996 law on the suppression of prostitution is just ignored, as is much of the land traffic act, also 1979. The only possible reason to keep up this nonsense is that it employs officers and brings in fine money.

why go with a spouse and the kids anyway? It has never taken me more than an hour or so in 15 years. Agents do not normally do marriage extensions (apart from hand holding), just retirement ones. You have it the wrong way around the people with cash in the bank pay 1900 baht, the 'penniless' are the ones who pay an agent around 14k to get an extension without it. Although there are some who claim they do so as they are against lodging money in a Thai bank and having to put up with having no access to it. It's all a grey area, what ever people claim.

she has been proven a liar by her sister. Meghan claimed not seen Samantha for 20 years, Samantha provides a photo of them in 2008. Claimed Samantha only changed her name to Markle when she got engaged to Harry, but Samantha's education cert has Markle on in and she took the name in the 90's. When 2 claims have been proven false why should we believe anything else, Meghan is clearly a fantasist.
