  1. Had this happen, was told reason is account opened in Chiangmai branch, we now live in Sattahip. The letter has to be done in Chiangmai and sent to the branch here. Opened a new account in Sattahip branch and then transferred my 800K to the Sattahip account on iPhone app. See what happens next year.. Mystery to Me...TIT
  2. One thing I read before and found true, don't go Immigration on Mondays or Fridays, currently arriving around 0930 hrs at Jomtien, there is no Q.... But the Monday and Friday thing is always crowded
  3. OP message me if you can't find anything..., My wife had a stroke 17 yrs ago. Right side bad.. We retired in Thailand while back. She had a car in Houston fitted with left footed gas pedal, I sold car but kept the gas pedal. This is anodized aluminum stainless base/sub base stainless shaft, sealed bearings. Bolts to floorboard and plate covers the OEM gas pedal so bad leg/foot can't get to it. Assembly pops out (10 seconds) so can be used normally by anyone else. I bought her a small Lexus in 2008 because..it had auto wipers, when it rains they come on, Keyless entry and auto headlights.. Also had the knob on steering wheel but thats on our current car and not going. The left foot gas pedal though is looking for a good home. Freedom Wheels in Houston TX did all sorts of crazy stuff, I saw quadriplegic in a custom 3/4 ton 4 x 4 van. He only had use of one hand and drove everywhere.
  4. we're over 60 with issues but just got our second Pfizer on the 3rd of September, scanned the paper with Line and got the cert link on the phone. Had to drive from Sattahip but well organized and easy.
  5. I was quite concerned as I did my first extension in Jomtien without and agent, did I have everything, what's missing??? The photo copy people right outside Immigration office ask why you here, took my passport and made the required copies, think 30 baht.. Got inside and IO was so helpful, very nice and the whole process was quite easy. They did send me back to BKK Bank (around the corner) with a note in Thai of what they needed. Returned the next day and picked up passport..
  6. Nice synopsis of the week in the rear view mirror, appreciated the humor.....Now onward thru the weeds...
  7. Thought this was a great capture of the weeks events, thank you Mr Rooster... Also agree with some others, bad as this may seem to be too some, it just can't hold a candle to the Fluster Cuck that is the USA. And I thank the gods and spirits that motivated us to retire here before the deification hit the oscillation.
  8. we get our second jabs next Friday at Medpark and will definitely ask before leaving..
  9. Throw a few out and the rest will pick up what Thailands putting down...
  10. We also registered at Medpark, received a confirming email and went Friday AM, wifes a dual citizen, US/Thai, used her US Passport, she's also invalid in wheelchair, we were taken to the front of Q and we didn't ask but were given Pfizer. They did ask if I had health issues, yep heart disease so guess that was it. It was a very well run and can't say anything negative about the experience. Back Sept 3rd for second jab. That is a great hospital.
  11. Look forward to your Sunday blogs. As we used to say back in the day, Lock an Loll or Rock and Road, its all the same to me...
