    Well if they want to fly there from BKK they are being ripped off before they even get there by the monopoly of Bangkok Airways over the route and the prices for a 45 min flight.

    Lust and desire brings millions of people to Thailand every year and billions of Baht. The Lust and desire is easily satisfied sometimes openly in bars and clubs and whether I go to Thailand to visit temples or brothels masquerading as bars some people at home think I’m a pervert based on their understanding of what Thai Tourism is about. This alone indicates a perception of Thailand based on reputation whether right or wrong.

    BKK was recently upgraded by the US and will “pave the way for direct flights from the US”….would that have any bearing on it ?

    I love it….hilarious…like a TAT press release . Spend 30000 baht or so getting to and from BKK to take advantage of a tiny fluctuation in the Thai Baht.
