    Soi Diana and Buakhao were like car parks last Friday and Saturday and pedestrians were fair game for the motorbikes weaving in and out of the standstill traffic ..as I get older I find I'm complaining to myself more and more about the lack of footpaths and dangers of crossing the Soi ... all it takes is one mistake ..

    Family friendly? I'd like to see a family negotiating their way up or down Soi Bukahao on foot without casualties...or worse...swim in the sea at this beach resort without being sick afterwards. ...bring the kids on a tour of the weed shops...?

    I must be very lucky so... about 1hour to 90 mins , including an X-ray and waiting for the meds which are given in the hospital. There was no insurance involved , I only visit for holidays, stay on Bukahao... for the fresh air.... last time I went to A&E in my local hospital here in Dublin I was 4 Hours there, and I was told I was lucky, but at least it's free...for elder lemons like me. All the best to you .

    I have attended the emergency department at Pattaya city hospital on soi Bukahao several times and was seen promptly and treated very professionally and amazed at the low cost.

    I had to go to Phuket under the covid visa scheme ..first week in Phuket, test, and then free to go anywhere. I didn't like it and I wouldn't go back. If they thought that a compulsory 7 nights in Phuket was going to make people long for more, or stay on the island it didn't work for me.
