  1. The volunteer police are working illegally in Thailand, they work with the most corrupt workforce, and so what will be the outcome?

We are not wanted in their education system and we should not be helping out in the law enforcement.

The VP’s have nothing good to give to this system, we should stay away from it all.

  4. any withdrawal of visa for someone of their status would have been issued by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and not a junior member of the British Embassy in Bangkok.

It's a routine e-mail to airlines, Andy Gray, whoever he is, sounds like right person for the job of notifying them. We have no idea who or when cancelled the visa, we just have an e-mail informing people that it has been done.

Andy Gray, know him well. He is in charge of Immigration at the British Embassy, and in his spare time works for Sky Sports in the UK as a football pundit and commentator. :D

Hahaha, can see that you did also search the net for Andy Gray, and sure he has two balls in the air at once. :o

And now back to the revoked visa party :D

  5. Why Are The PAD Speakers Always Screaming Into The Microphone ?

Does it have anything to do with the IQ's of the people they are addressing ????

    Addressed in order ------

Q1) They are not ALWAYS screaming, however when they are being loud and excited it is a typical Pep-Rally approach to motivate and energize the audience.

Q2) If this thread is to be a measure of that ... possibly!

are you a paid up member of PAD? it seems that no matter how corny the thread is you jump in on to speak for and on behalf of this motley crew of loud nutters, headed by a convict criminal. You're obviously not a Thai national so you have no stake whatsoever in it and Thais wouldn't even look at you. So, what is it? The only other possible explanation you is that you get your jollies inspecting the picket lines

And the opposition are not criminals at all, just some good people doing their hard daily labor?

  6. I know that these farangs holding a position as volunteer police, have some pretty good visa assistance from their Thai comrades, extra long stay visa is very pleasing.

    Ummm... Bullshite

    Totster :o

How can you find that hard to believe?

In Thailand!?, Or do you imagine that these VP's are not involved in any hanky panki arrangements.

These volunteer police dudes are surrounded by visible corruption daily in massive scale, and working with corrupt cops does not make them, corrupted?

Or maybe these guys are so full of moral and ethic code that they shine like a true knight in shiny armor!

Well if so is the facto, then I must praise them, the mighty volunteer police force, the true knights of King Arthur’s sword.

    Hail, Hail, Hail

  7. I promised to never use any form of taxi service since the TV topic where a farang was beaten up by the taxi stand maffia, at JUNKCEYLON.

And not one taxi of sort has been used by me or my family, since that time.

We have managed well without these low life mobsters.

Suggest that others can do so without!

  8. If you pay for the online version, it will not give so much more information, nor near to realtime news.

So keep on free viewing HB, as there is not much of news to receive anyway. Reporting mainly road accidents and violence is not the Gazette prefered biz.

  9. I would rather give away that kind of money to a Thai lotus in a bar, than standing around in the burning sun for a whole day, for 900 baht, waste of time.

But then again not everyone here has the same opinion as little me naa!

  10. i went the the hub of the Universe last night and now i have the hangover to prove it. i've lived in Thailand for a long time and and of all the girlie bar areas, i can definitely say that Patong/Bangla is my favourite. the girls are the most beautiful and most fun to talk to (didn't get to do more than talk because i went with my wife).

a lot of people criticize the night-life here but I love it, depends what you are into i guess. i can't think of a better way to spend an evening that surrounded by beautiful girls talking BS and drinking too much singha. if i was single and rich, i would probably never leave the place.

    I second that,

  11. Bangla was the seed to get tourism here and to now start turning it to something else is to kill Phuket as to us westerns.

Yeah, you guys (and girls) here at TV can argue this matter until you lose control, spew lava and get banned.

But the fact is that none of you have any care or ideas to get the island going on as a well being and sound tourism attraction.

Thai government and its likes are not capable to do any realistic turn to the tourism that you guys aim for, as I have asked for in my topics in this forum, are only replied with bar hooligan nonsense.

To be honest, as a long time resident here, I have seen no sensible turns to any prevailing tourism here, and that makes me wonder if it that is ever going to be!

Yes, I do like the bar life here and its easy sex, and so does the majority of the tourists coming here.

Family groups and the happy single tourist do exist together here and seem to work fine for now.

One can see that there are some politicians and law officers, speaking out that whatever is going on here in Phuket are alright according to Thai laws.

Thais are changing laws and adding taxes to successful businesses run by non Thais, and this has made it more costly to run a business here. We all went here to get away from excessive taxing and regulations in our home countries. Changes are made, but they come too fast and the changes are mostly not so well planned.

Bangla will remain, but it will be a costly affair to walk down this street in the near future, with all the rising costs and fees.
