  1. Thanks How is it difficult? Do they often reject medical visa requests? Should they be made from outside Thailand?
  2. Has anyone got the 90 day or 1yr medical visa? How difficult is it? Do I need a hospital letter, or just show medical receipts? I'm already in Thailand, getting cancer treatment, and flying would be very difficult, but the only way - at this point - to get another tourist visa. Any information appreciated. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the info! We will definitely find this Where did you buy it? Does it have a Thai name? Do you think the tumour went just down this one tea? thanks
  4. Yes I assume its as there is no possible profit to be had from investing in this. Or perhaps there's nothing in anyway. Who knows!
  5. Thanks for the information. Most interesting. I understand that there are many claims made on the internet, often for money or bad reasons, however there has also been some solid research in this field. The problem for universities is, finding funding for research. I'm willing to try something new, that's not too expensive, and most likely won't cause any harm. As conventional medicine has not been effective. I found one place in BKK that can do 5g injections, but would like to try a stronger dose. Thanks
  6. Has anyone had Vitamin C injections for cancer or any other malady? There has been some interesting research in this field, and I am interested to try this. One clinic offered a 5g dose, but I see some take up to 100g. Thanks
  7. Thank you for the information. Much to look at. I know someone who swears that he 100% cured his throat cancer with high TCV cannabis oil. He said to start of with a low dose and work up to high, but insisted the high THC part was important. I did not try this, though I have the oil overseas. I thought this talk was very interesting
  8. Has anyone used cannabis to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, or just of cancer its self? Does cannabis help? Thanks
  9. I know someone who swears blind that they cured their cancer with high THC cannabis oil. He took it for a months, gradually increasing the dose from very small. He claims that it completely went without conventional medicine. It was home made. I have not tried this myself. Have you read anything about IP6? Many clinical studies seem to indicate that this reduces cancer tumours. I'm also having one of my cancer tumours tested for Arginine sensitivity. Latest research indicates that reduction in this, or blocking, can stop cancer tumours feeding. Medication is coming out at the end of the year, but will only be available with Permatrexted chemo, though one can go on a low Arginine diet.
  10. Thanks for the information. I went to Chulabhom Cancer Hospital, they were very good, but said that it would take a few weeks to get the medication I needed. Is there a private hospital you have a good experience with for cancer? I've heard stories of people being over-charged at these hospitals, and thought a government hospital might be better. Is treatment at government hospitals lesser quality? Thanks
  11. Thank you for the info What do you mean by ' visa exempt'. 'No limit on how often you can enter by land border with a visa' does that mean going to a Thai embassy in another country and applying for a tourist visa before reentering? Thanks
  12. Thanks for the help. Is a letter from the hospital enough, or is there a particular medical form I should present to get the 90 days? Do you have an examples? Also, I've had two land crossing tourist visas, and am told this is the limit now, if I fly in and out, would I be able to get another tourist visa? Many thanks
  13. 3 Questions I would appreciate your help. 1 Do I need a TM30, if staying in a hotel? 2 What happens if I've had two visa extensions by going to Laos, but want to extend the last tourist visa in BKK. Is this allowed? 3 If I'm getting serious medical treatment here, can I get a longer extension? Thank you
  14. Sheryl shall I take it that you've been to these hospitals and this comes from your experience? I know what medication I need (Gemcitabine and Ramucirumab), so its not a complicated case. Did you have a bad experience of delay or poor service at Chonburi? Thanks
  15. Thanks for the info Most useful its Mesothelioma. I know what chemo I need, what medication has been recommended, so was hoping to be able to ask a govt hospital to administer the chemo as per the instructions of my oncologist back home. Thanks
  16. Thanks Stage 4 cancer. In Issan, no double charging.
  17. We've used the Udon Thani, government cancer hospital, which was excellent. Cheap and easy to get an appointment. And also the government hospital in Nong Khai, which has an oncologist. Couldn't find any Government cancer hospitals in BKK or nearby, do they exist? How easy is it to be treated in a government hospital in BKK or around Pattaya? We'll be looking for a government hospital around these areas that has an oncologist available. As easy as in Issan? Thank you
  18. Is there anywhere to buy big socks in LOS? Even online? I haven't found anywhere. Thanks
  19. Is there an English speaking customer number or chat for this company? Thanks
  20. Thanks for the info. Yes, there are quite a lot of junk texts in Thailand.
