    Part of my point.

Why would you want to raise your kids in one of the worst educational systems in the world?

Thai is a language and education that is useless outside of Thailand.

You really have a chip on your shoulder. What happened to you while you were here?

There are ways around each point you make if you take the time to find them.  You also base all your negativity around teachers. Most are younger and looking for some adventure.

The language is not useless at all. It got my daughter a part time job translating Gifs from English to Thai that she has kept for 3 years now while studying at university. No office to go to and she makes 1500 bucks a month for less than 20 hours a week working from her apartment with her laptop.

I hope you feel better after your rant...

NCC1701A: 'And there is no money for the Bangkok elites in your proposal. It is a loss of income for them': Not quite. If I can't get my car here without the cutthroat duties, I won't import it NOR buy one here. And me not driving here means loss of income for the trade.

Okay after you conquer this challenge please take on the noise problems and the littering problems as well. You are well funny though...

  3. The new Camry and Camry hybrid with the new nice body that has been in America for a year and a half will be released here in December this year of January next. Toyota has contacted my wife.

I am a bit confused on the Altima/Teanna from Nissan as the Altima in America is not a Teanna, I made the mistake of renting an Altima home while home this summer in California. It is in no way a Teanna it is smaller as I found out in the rental car center. Still took it as it was summer and cars are booked. But did not get to test drive a Teanna to compare to our Camry.

i think i have already lost several pounds since I left america.  this is definitely working.  since i live in a village in the middle of nowhere, there is no 7/11 around for many miles.  nothing but soups and sticky rice everyday. ?  i think if i keep this up, i will be off my BP meds in about 3 months

Not unless you exercise as well. Weight loss is a great start but without exercise you will still need the meds.

    In 7-11,

You: "Hello, do you like beer or wine coolers"

    Her: "I like those" (pointing)

You: "Great, we'll take them back to my room"

I've always assumed if they talk to me they're already up for a shag.

(1,000bht on the bedside table after)

Pure class. For sure you are going to find a keeper. One that you will be able to take care of for the rest of your life. Sounds fun huh?  She is probably looking for a sugar daddy just like you... Again so smooth...

Flights will take place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Kuala Lumpur at 10am local time, arriving in Hua Hin at 11am.

From Hua Hin flights depart at 11:30am local time arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 2:35pm.

To those in the know ,  from the time of arrival to the time of departure is only 30 minutes , a quick turn around . Is that enough time to carry out all the aircraft mechanical and safety checks ?

No check necessary its just a turn around flight. Most of Air Asia and the low budget carriers operate like this. Come in take on passengers and go..
