If the law firm has used a loophole in the judicial system then they have nothing to worry about, It is probably all above board and legal, they just have to prove that no law was broken and they will be home free, and the bonus will be free advertising for their office, and a boom in business.

Can anyone decipher that chart?, I have never met a thai woman with 500,000 baht to spare, how do they find them?, and why do they fall for these scams, is it a promise of a handsome millionaire that attracts them?.

Tips: #1, avoid supermarkets, buy bananas and stuff at open markets. #2, learn to live without that aircon being on 24/7.
I guess it's certainly possible when you budget as you do, realistically for a single retiree.....
A modern condo with sea views, a decent gym and pool can be had for about 12,000tb, you don't need larger than a studio of 25m2 so long as it has a kitchen, balcony, and nice bathroom, at that size it is cheaper to cool, and less lights etc, a kitchen so you can cook the occasional breakfast, a pack of cereal and carton of milk for the rest of the week is worth about as much as a full english breakfast 200tb at the bar , for dinner a bowl of soup, sorry guy's but there are way too many men that are overweight in los, it is the perfect environment to lose weight , like walking around inside a sauna, if you locate close to where you want to be then you don't need a car or even a bike, so your day would begin with breakfast, followed by a rigorous workout in the gym for an hour, off to the pool for as long as you like, then a nice long walk along the beach ogling the beach beauties, what more does a man in his twilight years need?.

- Maid : 9000
- Electric : 8000 (Aircon in 4-5 bedrooms all night!)
- Loan repayment : 35000 (Wife built an extension)
- Petrol : 8000
- kids : 6000 (pocket money)
- Alcohol : 10000
- MIL : 10000
As I send back about 140,000 a month, I presume the rest, about 55,000, is spent on food and house maintenance! (wow, those kids are hungry!)
I also pay school fees directly, on top of that.
My wife claims she has income as well, that she spends all of! ( as she is always saying I don't send enough)
If your not there then who drinks all the Alcohol?.....the maid?

OK, to me it looks like the vendor categorising the different models and specs to distinguish the difference between the products.
Although it's not clear i think the "A" designator refers to China, and "C" a country of unknown origin, perhaps "C" is in fact global rom, can't be sure, I would call them and ask but do not know a word of thai.

Where did you see Xiaomi phones series A and series C?
AFAIK there are Redmi series (budget brand) and mi series (mid to high range brand)
These brand categories can be seen on Xiaomi website.
They are on the Lazada site, with a price difference.
-
what's the difference between the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (4 / 64GB) Pro Series A , and Series C?, talk about confusing.

This story certainly got the attention of the worlds media, well done to all involved, now that we all breath a sigh of relief perhaps more attention can be focused on the tragedy in Phuket.

It appears that most crims here get caught red handed via cctv, they are everywhere, and are making a big impact on crime, the old saying of "watch your back" has a different meaning in thai, well done!.

What is it about Thailand that triggers these outbursts in god fearing men, obviously not a seasoned drinker , perhaps a little something extra in his drink?
-
There is a certain amount of negligence on the woman's part who owns the phone, place it on a footpath anywhere here, how long do you think it would stay there?, do you also persecute who ever picks it up?
granted this was not on a footpath but on a couch in an office, when people see something of value unattended the evil within takes over, [not everyone but certainly not the minority] then the regret later when it's too late, they could have handled it better by offering the young lady compensation and and apology , probably would have been allowed to resume their journey out of chiang mai with a bit of luck.

2. TOURIST VISA
1. REQUIREMENT
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes .
2. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full)
Not set in concrete, definitely need a flight out on visa exempt entry, however on setv some consulates do not require a ticket out, eg: Melbourne consulate in oz, because you can get a 30 day extension after the 60 days, requirement for flight out after 60 days is ludicrous.

Notice most are men and not women, thumbs up for women!.

Thank's for the advise and replies guy's, I did email Sydney and got no reply, the to-do list seems difficult but as you say not so bad, I'll try Canberra, I take it if you apply for a 1 year you don't need to send in a flight out?,
Ubonjoe what is the procedure to get a second year?, do I just fly in before the one year expires and they stamp passport?, no extra fees and such?.
Thanks.

Hopefully someone who has applied for one in oz can shed some light on the following:
If an application is submitted in Canberra then.....

Evidence of health insurance from a Thai insurance companyIn Sydney There is nothing to say they need "Binding certificate by the NOTARY PUBLIC or JUSTICE OF PEACE" , a medical form is attached to the application form, to me it appears that Sydney would be a better choice to submit an application, not as stringent as Canberra, however is it at all possible? as that bold statement stating you can only apply through the Canberra office hold any water?
Cheers.

Not nice, when a woman cannot drive to a local milk bar without being assaulted by one of her own countrymen,
will be interesting to see what punishment is dished out.
-
Crikey that will teach them, fancy having sex behind closed doors, what were they thinking?, should have done it on Pattaya beach and all would have been well, how did all these different nationalities find out about this party?.
-
It is quite feasible that the woman driver in the pickup is slightly built and struggles to see over the steering wheel, that combined with a glaring sun would have initiated the accident, she certainly did not do it on purpose, panic then ensued and she crossed the other lanes.

I really think the time has come to deny visas/entry to citizens of Russia.
That's a bit harsh, there is riffraff in every country, they do seem to be in the news a lot though,
she is not out of the woods yet as her condition is critical being in intensive care, hope she comes out of it ok, although I think it will affect her emotionally for quite some time, poor girl.

Japan is visa free for us passport, might have direct the flight back home from there though as a return flight is required.

Seems rather harsh, suvarnabhumi is not as stern as don muang, there has to be a reason other than the tuktuk.

The only difference I found was the proof of accommodation.i stay with a Thai national at his home,he had to write a letter of invitation for me to submit to the consulate.
I had an address no invitation letter...no drama's, but different consulates have different rules.

Post your application to Melbourne office, they only require a flight ticket entering Thailand.
