There is an anomaly in the translation or order because it talks about single entry OA Visa holders and of course (AFIK) no OA Visa is single entry.
 

It does not address the question of someone with a reentry permit to an extension already granted without the insurance requirement.

 

So well before leaving you should get an answer from an immigration officer.

 

 

That still leaves a lot of if's, I have a re entry permit, but wonder whether it was all for nothing, surely they would not deny me entree, but if so I could request a 30 day exempt visa to obtain an O, or would they simply send me back, as with all the rules and regs nothing is clear cut, receiving vindication from one io doesn't mean all is good.

Is this requirement only for new applications and or extensions or does it apply immediately for residing and entering oa visa holders?

I never leave home without credit card insurance, which probably won't be accepted,  will have to start back on tourist visas as they are exempt from everything.

Leaving Bkk to go back to AU, before doing so need to visit an adjacent country then return to bkk to take my flight back to AU, when leaving Suvarnahumi will obtain a re entry permit as i am on OA, however on returning to bkk from the said adjacent country I need to collect my bags and check in again, really don't want to use the re Entry permit for basically a transit, is there a way i can keep my re Entry until my return from AU?., hope I have explained the situation clearly enough.

After messing with Chrome for an hour I read from members here not to use Chrome, So tried Edge, piece of cake, just filled in what was listed in red, saved a pdf copy, all good.

I believe this to be very bad news indeed, they will make it more stringent than it already is, they are planning evil ways to exact revenge on those who complained about the system, many here are jumping up and down with joy only to be driven down with a sudden blunt blow.

Will check out the immigration q at suvarnahumi tomorrow and report back to see if there is any evidence of this influx of foreigners.

Uk that is an incredibly high intake going by the weak pound,  I have to say though over the past year I have been to Vietnam, Cambodia,  Bali, and still my fav is Thailand, The people are what makes it great, next I will try India as the au is still reasonable over there,  but only to Goa. 

National security is not compromised by tourists?,,, how so?,  they are free to roam wherever they please,  what about tourist backpackers/campers  who will report them?. 

Do you also have to submit a tm28, as you are in fact changing your address if only temporarily?

Aud over the past month has actually gone up over the inr, might be time to go to goa. 

How about driving past Pattaya into Cambodia or Vietnam?, or from where you are into Malaysia, and forget bkk.
