I had the same problem on my Zircon UPS Model Pi-RGB yesterday, when I reconnected my UPS after not using it for a while. The troubleshooting section in the manual says it could be a low or problematic battery. I followed the instructions for (2) - Charge the battery with zero load. After a while there was a beep and the front display appeared once more. I'm leaving it to charge for 6-8 hours (or until the battery level is at the max) as per the instructions.

Thanks for your input @OJAS. My income comprises UK Govt pension (I worked in Local Govt), a workplace pension (private sector) and state pension, all of which are remitted to Thailand. My understanding of the current Thai tax position is that the UK Govt Pension is covered by the DTA between the UK and Thailand and is only taxable in the UK, My assessable income comprises my workplace and state pensions which combined will not exceed the sum of my allowances, exemptions and deductibles. So it would seem I will have no Thai tax to pay.

I've just finished season 1 of Dead & Buried and it was very good IMHO. It was recommended by @Will27 some time ago in this thread. it's on 1337x.

They can be the same number but in some cases (me for example) they are not. I presented my Pink card & YTB when I applied for a TIN and also attached copies to my Lor.Por.10.1 application form. I was given a TIN number which was NOT the same as my pink card number. Here is a thread discussing Pink card number & TIN

That may be the Lloyds policy. It is not true for RBS though I don’t remember if my last debit card was sent to Thailand. HSBC send new credit & debit cards to my house here in Thailand. In fact I have had new cards delivered this year from HSBC. I don't have a UK address.

iPlayer shows the seasons by name rather than a number. I'm beginning to think that I've already watched season 5. Will download season 5 & check. Update: Yes I have already watched season 5 : Troubled Blood - 4 episodes.
