I've also just started Landman and I think it's very good. Also agree about Billy Bob Thornton's performance being excellent. He also turned out great performances as Lorne Malvo in Fargo season 1 and Billy McBride in 4 seasons of Goliath.

To use the Pink ID card number as a TIN, you would still need to register/activate that number at at the Tax office. My local Tax office did not use my Pink Card number when I applied for a TIN, even though I presented it and my YTB when I applied and even attached copies of the Pink Card & YTB to the TIN application form. So my Pink ID and TIN are different numbers. Others have reported similar experiences.

Buriram is one such office. For recent online reports, my average wait time is 2-3 days for approval, with some even approved same day as submitted. Prior to that there were a couple of instances of a 6-7 day wait, which may have been because of holidays.

This is exactly what I do. I have Visa debit/credit cards issued by HSBC UK. They are locked until I need to use them and then they are unlocked using HSBC app when I need to pay for something and then re-locked once the transaction has completed. I also keep my Thai bank daily transaction limits low, as you recommended in another post. I don't have any Thai bank cards and use cardless withdrawal to get money from ATMs. No chance of losing the card or it being swallowed by an ATM or the card being "skimmed", if you don't have one.

You need to use the HSBC app on the old phone to generate the QR code. Open the app on the old phone and select "Generate security code". A popup will appear with options. Select 'QR code'. Then scan it using your new phone. I did this last year and it worked fine. Sorry I cant show screenshots as the HSBC app doesn't allow this. Here are some instructions I found
