Honda H-RV - small outside, big inside.
Mazda CX5 - big outside, small inside
Pajero - big outside, long inside - ideal for a bike
Interesting spatial analysis. Any comments on performance, or maybe OP can say why he wants the CX5 so much?

That's a whole lot of avoiding. Who do you not avoid?

Damn, I knew I was old, but I have been talking about the good old days for forty years. I remember the sixties when Patpong was hot, Thai Heaven had hundreds of girls, and you could easily hit all the bars in Pattaya in one night.
I bet you have some great stories to share!

There was a period in the late 90s when the girls en mass decided they would wear big boots and I hated it.
The gogo boots were great. They just got too expensive to repair, so the girls went the cheap charlie route back to shoes which can be bought even used, at markets for a few pennies.

In a nutshell...Supply & Demand happened. From 1992 - mid 2000s, supply was rife and demand was way low, especially in the 90's and even to the mid-2000s. It's quite the opposite nowadays.
Brilliant micro-economic analysis. We need some supply demand curves and a few pie charts to get to the bottom of this.

Totally true....it is about the money, not about someone who thinks they are a good looking party clown.

I agree with the poster also, it seemed to go downhill with the English in the late 90's when there pound was strong, they threw money around and the price trebled in six months, with that the girls bad attitude started and it never recovered to the good old days.
Love the high finance angle. I bet all the punters and girls are rushing to the FX markets charts to get a clue as to what will happen in the future....LOL!

They are brainwashed, tribalised and victims of their own making. The regime uses mass rape, torture, blackmail, incarceration, disappearances, etc to control a hapless population. You will remember ASSK asked the the world,NOT to use the term Myanmar as it was imposed by the most violent thuggish regime in the world. But whether it is now called Burma or The ridiculous Myanmar it is really a hell for most people. Anybody, including you who thrives there has blood on their hands up to their elbows. It is a toxic dump, no infrastructure, nasty racist, deluded, but cowed people. Yes they are victims of a hideous regime but the government are the people writ large.
I am guessing they won't be offering you an Honorary Consul position any time soon!

There seem to be alot of real estate shills and agents on this thread. Unless I see audited financial statements, I am not buying any of these high falutin claims of success by these "big time" wheelers and dealers.

Aren't all words made up, including the name "Burma"? I mean, words didn't originate with the Big Bang.

Yes, in Sri Lanka sometime tourist but mostly there for work. Otherwise a Thailand resident. And you, from your posts you sound slightly jaded? That's why we're having this discussion, to find places for people like you to move to where you might fit in better.
Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile appIf I am slightly jaded, then you are totally jaded. And I am sure quite a spectacle with your white knee socks, running shoes, and camera around the neck.

I think perhaps you've not been to Sri Lanka recently, would that be correct Mr Google expert? No photoshop required to show the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Attached more genuine photos from my recent trip to watch blue whales off the coast of Mirissa. Incredible to watch these amazing animals just a few hours sail off the south coast. From Colombo one can be out watching whales within half a day.
I was there last week, and thanks for calling me an expert!
BTW, the food is surprisingly weak there as well. The curry is fantastic but you cant eat that 3 times per day, 365 days per year. In spite of being an island, there is very little good seafood. Most of the fishing fleet heads off to far away places such as the seas around Indonesia, since there are so few fish.
Was not impressed by the local talent either!

Life is not over when you're 68 , that's for sure, if your mental health is still good.
This guy is 94 , his name is Olav Thon , one of the richest billionaires in Norway. His life is not over. Walks into the office every day.
But even without money , you can still have a decent life as an old man.
I would rather live alone than having to pay for a woman I met in a Pattaya bar.
what is that strange hat he is wearing? It looks like a door mat.

And please explain how one can be prosecuted when they are dead. As far as assisted suicide, see the following:
As of March 2018, human euthanasia is legal in the Netherlands, Belgium, Colombia, Luxembourg, Canada and India. Assisted suicide is legal in Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and in the US states of Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, Montana, Washington DC, and California.
Please get your facts straight :)
No, you get your facts straight instead of the fake news. It is not legal in most of those jurisdictions. Provide references, data sources, and a legal opinion for each one (as well as independent verifiable stats for each country of how many cases have been done) if you wish to prove your point.
Attempted suicide is a criminal offence in many jurisdictions.

If there's no will, then what? We all have choices and can decide when we want to check out. 68 is not far off the average life expectancy in Thailand of 75, and who's to say he wasn't terminally ill. We really don't know much about this man.
True. However, in most western jurisdictions, it is still illegal to kill oneself and/or assist someone else to do so. Whether that is right or wrong is a hotly debated topic.
