Fill up my scooter about 6-7 times, or my car once - if I use E20.
Should be able to get 8 fills for a scooter at 125 per pop.

No.
Could be caused by lying down on pillow all day watching TV, motor bike helmet, or oil used to lubricate clippers being transferred to scalp.

Rivetting topic.....just can't wait to see the replies. I have no ideas myself?
Agreed.....the possibilities are endless and mind-numbing. For instance, you could buy 1000 x 1 baht coins.

I was at Jomtien immigration stuck in a 2 hour queue. At this time of year it is always the same. Expats needing to get re entry permits so that they can leave the country and escape the water fighting.
Why not get the re-entry permit at the airport?

I see the police have been hard at work confiscating the PVC pipes they earlier banned. Plenty of powder. Lots more guns in the vendor's stock.
Looks like it'll be business as usual in the bar areas through the 19th. We'll see if the relative calm of the past few years continues outside those areas. Didn't even see any kids out today. :)
That looks like a PVC pipe in that picture?

What a silly nihilistic response!

Some people are perfectly content to drive 8 hours to sit around a hotel pool. More power to them. Some aren't. I'm one of those.
I can't imagine why anyone would take a beach holiday and not get on the water. Or a mountain holiday and not get out on a trail. But that's me. Flying doesn't work because of the limitations at each end (can't get away from the crowds) and the deplorable choice of rental equipment in most domestic areas. And that's why I'll probably never take a vacation in Bhutan, or go trekking in Nepal. Just call me Jethro...
I took the oath back in 1988 so I haven't gone anywhere with a beer in 29 years. But I don't begrudge those whose habits and preferences differ from mine.
You should watch the movie, Downsizing. Too many people are way too attached to stuff. After that, listen to the George Carlin comendy routine Stuff,

The Songran FAQ already addresses that question but next year I'll make it more explicit about the North Pattaya Bus Terminal in particular for anyone not able to understand.
Q: Can I travel to or from Pattaya on the 18th or 19th?
A: Forget it. All roads around Pattaya turn into parking lots. The 19th is worse than the 18th, but, as noted, Pattaya is affected also by Naklua's Songkran on the 18th. Some, if not all, taxi services refuse to travel on the 19th.The buses leaving Pattaya do run on the 19th, surprisingly, but you'll have to get to the station on your own, heh, heh (no Bell Travel pickup) and expect long, long delays, even late in the evening.
If you think you may have a medical emergency on those days, better to get out and stay near a hospital elsewhere, because nobody's moving out the way for an ambulance.
Yes, the terminal is open as usual on the 19th. Really really.
Is is possible to get out of town if leaving at 7am?

Ever try hopping on a plane with the wife, 2 kids, a few bicycles, a cooler full of perishables and beer, and all the other things normal families use on holiday?
For me, it's kayaks and SUP's. Even the inflatables can drive up the cost of a flight because of the ridiculously low domestic baggage allowance.
Sounds like a bit of Beverly Hillbillies moving operation. Have you ever heard of traveling light. Would you need the bicycles, kayaks, coolers etc if you took a family vacation in Bhutan or trekking in Nepal. Do you travel with beer every where you go? Other countries also sell it?

Even after it starts they stop at night do they not? Should be fine in the evening.
Caveat emptor when cruising the sois with bars on them. You may get soaked 24/7 on some.

We went to the obstetrician opposite of Big C Extra. Ultrasound and pic 800 B.
Is that on Pattaya Klang near the English school? Can you remember the name of the clinic?

They should have an official declared opening salvo each year, so people can plan around it. Could turn into a Groundhog Day style event.

"Hopes End" which is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Malbec (with occasionally some Petit Verdot in it) and at around 460 baht has to be one of the best value wines around IMO.
Will try it. Have to laugh at the irony of the name though. At least it is not called "Last Chance Swill"!

Excrement on all of the walls, door, sink, and the sink and door were a couple of metres away from the toilet itself.
Perhaps it was some sort of post-modernist fecal art or maybe someone just threw a literal sh*t fit!

There was excrement everywhere (yes, I saw it on the floor, walls, sink, door etc) and the carpet was soaked with urine and was stuck to the floor. WHY?

I'm not being argumentative, I'm commenting on what you said which seemed to suggest that worldwide people tend not to buy knock-offs or buy from unreliable sources. That is clearly untrue. Here's your quote...
"Sure they do. Ok. Worldwide, when purchasing sunglasses tend not to buy cheap knock offs or from unreliable distributors as there will be no guarantee of their quality".
I will have to agree with JW on this one....also the other guy seems to have gotten out of the wrong side of bed today and is bickering on multiple threads.

I did actually buy two pairs of sunglasses .
They also had a pair on sale for 29 Baht and the shop assistant claimed that they were also UV resistant .
I didnt think that they would be that cheap , so he was either lying or the shop had put the wrong price tag on them .
29 Baht , cant really go wrong
I hope you at least tried to haggle the price down a but first.
